Serious question to Shelby High administration??

I agree. I think Shelby could play and beat South Pointe, Dillon. I know the atmosphere at those schools is like no other. I would love to see the Shelby kids in a Dillon prison-wall type of environment. I think it would be huge for Shelby and NC
I agree.Now next year with a new conference we will have to play Burns,Crest, and KM in our non-conference schedule.Plus I believe we are going to play AC Reynolds again.
A cross border non conf game with Spartanburg or Dorman would be a closer/better test for the lions in the early season. Too bad they get dinged for playing a 2A school. I think a Rock Hill South Pointe, Chesnee, Clover(down recently), or Dillion would be perfect replacement for AC Reynolds(nothing against Reynolds they're a good team most years). There's so much good competition much closer than Freedom or Reynolds with strong gate potential.
That's interesting. Usually good ties with coaches keep playing series like this going. ACR is a great program and should be continued. I hope N-C has began a long series with Asheville.
I have talked to Coach Laws and he assured me we would be playing Shelby for the foreseeable future. He loves that high quality opponent early to see where the team is and what needs to be worked on. We only have 3 non conference games next year and 8 conference. As of the start of the season we still needed a game for week 1. West Forsyth is no longer playing us.
Shelby scrimmaged Gaffney for 20 years and then opened with then 4A Huss for many years. Don't give Shelby grief for anything. Shelby Administration thinks you're stupid.
NCPreps is a fan site, not an administrative site for Shelby High. I'm not sure that this is the best place to ask what the administration would be willing to do as far as scheduling. Claiming they aren't interested when you haven't actually asked them isn't exactly fair.
I've seen Shelby play for decades and am unaware of them shying away from playing anyone.
No shade towards Shelby. I'm a fan. Question came up after talking to a few of my co workers who were univ. South Carolina grads putting out Dillon and South Pointe would beat anyone not named Mallard Creek in NC. I pointed out Shelby could play with either Dillon or South Pointe. Thats why I posted this thread. I'm not asking about what Shelby did 20 years ago, I'm asking about not, near future. Is it possible to have a border game with those teams
Who would I speak to from the administration side?? AD? HC? Just curious and I know I'm not the only hs football fan that would love to watch them play, beat a team like Dillon or RH South Pointe, we all know they're more than capable but it's more of a region interest that would bring a HUGE GATR to Shelby

I don't have in any way shape or form a dog in this fight but why don't Shelby admin just get it over with a line up a Mallard Creek game. Might carry more hype and more Gate cash than Hibriten/Butler matchup of 2010. THAT game was more thrilling and back and forth than a carowinds ride.

well i for one hope that shelby and ac reynolds keeps playing . its a great game every year..win or lose its a good measuring stick for our team. playing good competetion can only help you later in the season.
