Seriously, what did we as fans do to deserve this misery?

I’ve wondered the same thing. It’s just misery. I’m almost embarrassed to say I’m a State fan. There is absolutely no joy right now. We play a meaningless bowl game, and our quarterback of the future’s knee gets blown out. We’ve got former alums as AD’s who bail on us and then steal our coaches for their new schools. It’s just one big pile of depression.

Mark Keenum was behind both AD hires. And the IHL isn’t even thinking about firing his gay ***. He is the reason for all the shîttiness we are going through right now.

You deserve the misery because you weren’t smart enough to see that it wasn’t going to work …..and…..lived and subsequently died by the “we have to keep him and give him more time or nobody else in the world will take this 4million/yr job ever again.

had too much pride to admit that Mullen was a good player developer and gameday coach when you had the chance to go get him back.

A lot of it lies squarely on Cohen’s shoulders.

He was too stubborn to take seriously all the NIL/transfer portal and infrastructure required to compete.

Ole Miss did the opposite and went all in. Now look where they are and look where we are.

We as a fanbase don’t deserve the misery. But our AD at the time, Cohen, made sure we got it.
