Did you watch the same game I watched last night? I saw a defense that only surrendered 17 points to one of the most potent attacks in college football. I saw an offense, while talented, got a little shell shocked on national TV. I saw us lose by 3 points to a team that was about 7-10 points better than us. I saw an awesome crowd, an awesome atmosphere, an awesome game that didn't go our way. I saw us as a legitimate SEC football team. Not a championship contender yet, but a solid football squad. I saw one of the best tailgating atmospheres in the country. Everything's going our way right now, and our football program is in the best shape it's been in since the 90's. Unbelievable how some of you are getting on Mullen for playcalling.

I know alot of you get drunk and emotional on game night, but ****, do you ever go back and look at the garbage you post?

It could be ALOT worse. We could be Ole Miss.

This team is on the upswing, and I don't think anyone doubts that, but I am serious that MSU is going to have to pull off some of these upsets before we are declared "a legitimate SEC team." The close losses certainly beat the blowouts we've had to endure most of this century, but Mullens and the players need to learn how to win some of these games. Dropping passes and senseless play calling contribute to losses.

if we don't win one of these next two games, we are probably looking at 5-7 or maybe even 4-8. This was our game to win and we just didn't make the play when it counted.

Especially after the on-sides kick recovery. He should have ran the triple option, not three pass plays in a row with Relf at the QB. This loss is on Dan's play calling.

and build your program. There is really nothing else to say.....you have to win these games when you have the opportunity to put butts in the seats. No stadium expansionetc etc etc tilwe win these games.Nothing else matters.

that is a good thing. I was disapointed last night with the play calling at certain times and thefailure ofour players to make plays when they were clearly makeable but man have we come a long way. We still have a ways to go but we have a coaching staff that knows how to make adjustments and I think Dan will learn from his mistakes last night. Russell clearly has improved and is on the right track but still isn't quite ready but he is going to be a good qb I believe. Diaz made great adjustments. Simply put the biggest difference in the game was Newton, if Auburn didn't have that guy we would have won that game going away. He made the plays when he had to make the plays, the guy has a huge upside.

I think he's a great coach. But he made some really questionable offensive decisions in the second half and he deserves to be criticized for them. I think he'll learn from his mistakes, but if he 'd done things a little differently in the second half we might have won that game. So yeah, I'm pissed off that we lost. I still think we'll go to a bowl game though.
