I don’t think the US gets involved other than telling Israel to take the gloves off and giving them what they need to finish the job.4. HAMAS showing no signs of disarmament.
If that doesn't change, the war is basically back on, but with US involvement this time.
Although that raises a legal question...the peace deal was signed by Trump as an executive agreement, which does not have to be ratified by Congress. But can POTUS use the military to enforce an executive agreement with foreign nations without Congressional approval?
Somehow, I don't think Congress will answer that one.
By HAMASThere have been multiple violations of the ceasefire already. It won't hold forever.
Trump said yesterday the US will disarm Hamas if they won't do it themselves. I suppose that could mean the US will support Israel doing it.I don’t think the US gets involved other than telling Israel to take the gloves off and giving them what they need to finish the job.
And honestly? Destroying Hamas and any covert allies is probably best.
I think the point is that eventually Israel is going to fire backBy HAMAS
As they shouldI think the point is that eventually Israel is going to fire back
Both sides but mostly Hamas.By HAMAS
I can't find any credible source where Israel has violated the ceasefire. Both sides but mostly Hamas.
Isreal shot and killed several people yesterday. I know they had reasons but if you are shooting you aren't in a ceasefire.I can't find any credible source where Israel has violated the ceasefire.

It is maddness to think that you can negotiate a genuine and lasting peace with a terrorist. Hamas has zero desire or incentive for peace. They agreed to this because they really had no other options. As soon as they can regroup and have new options and resources for causing trouble, they will be back to business as usual. I think that will be a while, but they will be a problem again at some point. You can never get rid of all of them, and they unforunately seem to reproduce at an exponetial rate when compared to the civilzed world. Both sides but mostly Hamas.
If you had reasons, you didn't break the ceasefire. You are simply defending yourself.Isreal shot and killed several people yesterday. I know they had reasons but if you are shooting you aren't in a ceasefire.
I 100% agree which is why its genius to get Arab nations involved who can help control HAMAS. It might not work but its darn sure worth a try.It is maddness to think that you can negotiate a genuine and lasting peace with a terrorist. Hamas has zero desire or incentive for peace. The best thing that could happen is the whole region gets blown up, there won't be any messianic returning because it's a bullscheit story, and finally the world will be at peace.
That's one way to look at it but if you are firing you aren't in a ceasefire by any definition. Israel wasn't fired on by the way. They said that themselves. Before you start jumping to conclusions here, I am entirely on Israel's side. I also look at it cold eyed and not through any colored glasses. The ceasefire is hanging by a thread. Hamas really didn't want one. They were forced to accept it by the Arabs. Trump leveraged that and good for him. But he is no magician. Hamas will not honor their end. We all know that. Rinse and repeat. If you had reasons, you didn't break the ceasefire. You are simply defending yourself.

I agree. A long-term occupation of Gaza would have been problematic for Isreal for lots of reasons. Negotiating what everyone knows will be a temporary ceasefire is the best bad option.I 100% agree which is why its genius to get Arab nations involved who can help control HAMAS. The huge difference is that all the Arab nations are signed on this time. The Arab nations will be taking care of Hamas. It is maddness to think that you can negotiate a genuine and lasting peace with a terrorist. Hamas has zero desire or incentive for peace. Oh i understand they want honor it. They have no honor. That's one way to look at it but if you are firing you aren't in a ceasefire by any definition. Israel wasn't fired on by the way. I've been trying to figure that out. Qatar, which helped negotiate the deal, is the only Arab nations that actually signed the deal. Arab nations were well represented at the Summit, though (which Israel did not attend). The huge difference is that all the Arab nations are signed on this time. The Arab nations will be taking care of Hamas.
I don't think that will happen. At this point, anyone appearing to give Hamas the benefit of the doubt is not doing it out of sympathy, they are doing it in solidarity.Oh i understand they want honor it. They have no honor.
But maybe if they screw up enough that some of the dumb @sse$ around the world will quit simping for them.
Not sure Trump buys into the first part of that quoteThis is nothing new:

No shít? Next thing you’ll tell me is the Egg Bowl rivalry won’t get toxic again. There have been multiple violations of the ceasefire already. It won't hold forever.
