He has about 5, maybe 6 more chances to get drafted in the 3rd rd. If the Steelers don't take him (God, please no) I could see the Browns or Raiders picking him up

Deion Sanders was different when he was in college going into the draft. He acted like he was the fastest, baddest corner in the draft because he was. Shitdoer acts like a pretentious spoiled brat thug. I like him as a QB, but damn his attitude gets old. Give me some crazy QB like Jim McMahon over a guy like Sanders. Amazing an honorable mention All Big 10 DL just got drafted before him.

Deion was great against the pass but was an absolute COWARD against the run

I haven’t followed closely. But I have not seen him act this way. Can any of the people that keep making these comments about his attitude provide some examples?

The only qb that hasn't made much sense ahead of him is the guy from Louisville. All the other guys played against way better competition throughout their college career.

Raiders have the 6th pick in the 4th rd. If they don't take him, I could see Steelers taking him with pick 123. I wouldn't be thrilled but that's a value pick with little downside. Rumor is Rogers has already told the Steelers he will sign after the draft.

Agree there were about 7 guys that went in the top 100 that Mel had rated in the 200s. That how far off these guys can be sometimes.

That said, Sanders I think is better than some of the qbs that have done so clearly he’s done something that has turned a lot of teams off.

If I’m Miami, I take him if he drops to me in the 4th, their system is designed around aria and Sanders is pretty similar skill set. The backups have been terrible there and Tua is one more concussion away from being done.

I don’t think there’s any big conspiracy. I think it’s as simple as media talent evaluators being way off. If Mel Kiper was worth a damn at talent evaluation, he’d be working for an NFL front office.
its a conspiracy against overhyped college qbs with bad mechanics who back pedal against pressure and take 20 yard sacks. not to mention mediocre arms

I know nothing about his interviews, but holy crap. The ESPN guys have no idea what to say or do. Kiper just said he was speechless. When the 17 has that ever happened?
I can recall I qb by the name of jimmy Clausen that kiper hype the hell out of and he dropped and dropped and of course he was a bust too. So much of the hype on some of these guys is political and a lot of them bust. A lot of coaches know what they are doing too. Others not so much. Time will tell. Sanders is talent but extremely arrogant and he comes with a lot of baggage. If he would shut his mouth and just work and his dad would stay out of it too he might would have a better shot, but he's not good enough to have his number retired just out of college nor he is good enough to run his mouth as much as he does. Ask yourself an honest question, if his dad wasn't Deon who has been his coach every step of the way and propped him up would he even be considered a top prospect? NFL coaches, gms, owners seem to think not.

I think that would be a good fit for him considering tua's health. However sanders in Miami might be trouble. As goofy and laid back as the coach is I also don't think he would want Deon in his ear about how his son is being used

Kiper said he would retire if Jimmy Clausen wasn’t a successful NFL starting quarterback. Obviously, he reneged on that declaration.

Helicopter parents. And if memory serves, hasn’t kipper **** on a few guys from state that all of us knew would be longtime players? I think Dak might be one.
