lol. Dillon Gabriel is a midget with an average arm and got taken ahead of Sanders. I knew he would drop bc he's not really that great but surely he's got more upside than Gabriel? Ah well. It's an unimpressive QB class. Not surprising that teams would pass on a guy that doesn't stand out talent wise with the baggage that's attached. If you need a contingency, draft him 5-7 and enjoy some jersey sales I guess.

Shadeur’s Bullsнit to Talent ratio is higher than Dillon Gabriel’s.

I can recall I qb by the name of jimmy Clausen that kiper hype the hell out of and he dropped and dropped and of course he was a bust too. So much of the hype on some of these guys is political and a lot of them bust. A lot of coaches know what they are doing too. Others not so much. Time will tell. Sanders is talent but extremely arrogant and he comes with a lot of baggage. If he would shut his mouth and just work and his dad would stay out of it too he might would have a better shot, but he's not good enough to have his number retired just out of college nor he is good enough to run his mouth as much as he does. Ask yourself an honest question, if his dad wasn't Deon who has been his coach every step of the way and propped him up would he even be considered a top prospect? NFL coaches, gms, owners seem to think not.
I made no comment, or took no take on whether he was a top prospect. Frankly, I relished Kiper having no idea what he wanted to say. Do the talking heads get things wrong? Of course, they do. I also did not defend Shadeur Sanders. I would not be arrogant enough to make a judgement of someone I do not know. Not saying that is what you are doing, but you obviously seem to have strong feelings about the young man. I do not care if he succeeds or not. I just like to see the talking heads get egg on their faces.

Despite your witty reply, none of those links say anything about character or locker room issues. I’m not saying all the people claiming he’s a problem off the field are wrong, I’m just asking to see the examples that helped them develop that view.

The moment he threw his O linemen under the bus after the Nebraska game was the first big red flag.

The final straw was the was he handled himself with interviews. Behaving like a 6 time Heisman winner when he's a 2 star QB with Gen Z drama.

When you have someone say it's the single worst interview he's sat in for his professional NFL career.... Ouch.

This.

He is a day 2 draft talent.

He could have talked himself into day 1 with prepared interviews and great work ethic because so many teams need a QB. That’s what Mel and others assumed would happen because honestly that’s what usually happens with several QBs.

He managed to talked himself into day 3 because he spooked teams that need a QB and it snowballed with teams that didn’t interview him, that may have taken a chance, just sticking to their plan as he fell.

Deion was worth the draft day circus, but it ended on draft day and was much smaller.

The bag isn't bigger than the game.

And social media isn't real life, social media hasn't scored one TD and social media will never win a single game. Tell his Team Gen Z Online Justice Warriors to find another hobby.

What amazes me how many people are screaming like he's some kind of hero who was a sure fire top pick. They think anything negative coming out is racist, when it's not at all. Caleb Williams was the top pick and his baggage was massive. Teams will sign who they think help them win games and will take those players where they feel their value point falls. There's nothing sinister here. The greatest QB in NFL history wasn't a high pick, nor were several HOF QBs. That wasn't racist either. I bet Sanders is gone first round today, but we don't know what teams Prime might be Archie-ing either.

He was basically a Mike Leach Air Raid QB if you watch Colorado’s offense. More talented than many of the random dudes Leach rolled out there, sure. But not just some great athlete or anything.

Jerry Jones probably has an erection
Ringmaster of the most profitable masculine soap opera in all of sports.

Problem is, like mentioned, anything not positive is quickly responded to with the racial victim card. Got that deck of cards on QUICK FIRE.

Browns take him in the 5th round.
That made no sense drafted gabriel then trade up in 5th to get sanders. Browns gonna browns. Drafting two qbs never really ends well. Just ruining picks. If you were gonna draft sanders get him where you picked Gabriel or get him protection instead. Browns just terrible at draft team management overall. Did someone call in and tell them they needed to pick him? Just weird decision. They already have a lot of qbs on roster.

Saw a post that this is the most Cleveland Browns thing the Cleveland Browns have ever done.
Drafting two quarterbacks is odd, but just looking at the Sanders pick, taking a projected 1st or 2nd round QB in the 5th round is good value.

The Cleveland thing to do would have been to take Sanders in the 1st or 2nd round when no one else wanted him. Now, if he doesn’t work out, you didn’t use an early pick for him.
