I did the same! He acted as if he were deaf and changed the subject.AMD, my friend, don’t get our Shelby friends stirred-up. After the last game with Shelby, I asked the city manager if his office got a call from Shelby. He said “Yes,” in a serious tone. To which I responded “Oh!”
Well, it is an exceptional baseball field.Some of the Lincolnton people were asking if maybe y'all would be friendly enough to make some donations to repair the locker room. They said you have that nice heated tent and nice baseball field also that nice foot... Well nevermind on that one

I gotta admit, I was low key shocked at how easy the trip from Burnsville to Lincolnton was after that game. The high that goes along with beating a higher seeded, more talented, reportedly unbeatable team must have made the road that much smoother.
Doggone it, the Boss went from inviting us to eat before our scheduled execution, to telling our opponents how to beat us.
Dang it...the Lions are gonna abandon the passing game now. Way to go, Boss of the aptly named stadium.

That’s hard to argue with, I looked. The total rushing yardage for the Cougars was 449 yards. Hope we can cut down on that. To the credit 0f our defense, MH had ZERO yards passing, and they did deny Mountain Heritage the last thirty yards, which if they would have been able to make, they MH would have won the game.

Sorry if I seem defensive, but since we’re looking at defenses shouldn’t the MH defense be included in this, too. Remember, Mountain Heritage did have us down 22-8, with only four minutes left in the half, and before the half ended Lincolnton was up by a point. Granted, one of our touchdowns came as a result of a MH fumble, but that fumble was recovered less than ten yards inside Cougars territory, meaning the wolves had to clear over forty yards to score again and take the lead.
Maybe our teams will meet next year, and for a change of scenery the cougars fans could make an exotic trip down to the bottom of the mountain to Lincolnton. You’d like it.
Edit… I edited and I seen this game is still Friday. It will be my 1st visit in a long time at Linconton. Best of luck to all the players. Looking forward to making the trip should nothing happen.

Were more cordial than they are. A lots more. And I confess, when we’re losing we’re down and not at our best, but we’re still ok. So, come on down. Dress as you will. Both teams wear black and gold so no problem, there, and enjoy yourself.

we throw the ball alot, too, lol. and, doesn't a wet field favor the receiver? Even so, yes I believe those conditions could affect every facet of both teams' attacks. But alas, many others know far more about that than me

I think y'all have a better running game than we do. We like to throw it about as much as y’all do. I’m guessing our coach wants to stay in the same routine of playing on Friday and doesn’t care about the cold air. Should be about the same temperature as last Friday. And a light rain shouldn’t be a factor. Could be a superstition type thing. For us to win it will come down to great execution and limiting mistakes.
Up to the school and coach just like start time...7 or 7.30

2 turnovers cost us 14 points last meeting. If you would have seen the stat sheet without the score you would have thought Shelby won. Turnovers are part of the game and you capitalize off of them. Coming into that game I said we were 14 points better. With the injuries and no turnovers this Friday, I got Shelby by a Touchdown
I think it will be close game. I hope the timing of the rain will miss most of the game. But I haven‘t seen the latest weather report. Either way I will be bundled up and prepared hopefully.
