Oh, I think everyone is aware of how good Shelby's defense is. Its probably the same problem with my Baltimore Ravens. Lamar Jackson play is overshadowing the Ravens D.

Shelby is just doing what they've done all year. Caught a couple of their games. They don't rebuild, they reload.

Only things of note for me down there is the fact Cheerwine comes from there lol. Their school was really well built and so is their downtown. The rest is meh.
Congratulations to Shelby.... I would not pull for Salisbury versus the Russians ... way to smack it to them.
Read somewhere Shelby broke the record in title games for least amount of yards given up holding Salisbury to less than 40 total

The defense played great in all 5 playoff games. Should be special again next year.
I think Salisbury had a great defense. I would not be surprised to see them in the mix next season
I agree Chopper they had an oustanding defense... That #9 Clay was so impressive and only a junior

Yeah...our defense will be absolutely incredible next year.

Heard a rumor today that Malaki's older brother may be coming back to Shelby for his senior season. Met him today. Dude has been a beast in Colorado.
If he does plus what we have coming back....i feel sorry for anyone we play.
The State Championship was at Shelby High last week lol
One detail that really caught my eye in the game, Daley and Mitchell had some big time catches that you hardly see on the high school level. I was so impressed in how they were catching the balls with their hands, away from their bodies. They both have to be added to the list of all time great receivers at SHS.
Daley's interception was really special and they way he keep his feet in bounds.

That's all Coach Collins. My son and I stopped by the fieldhouse yesterday. I told him he has done a great job for the team.
beamer24...thanks for the congrats...your Hibriten young men are what kept Shelby from 7 straight state championships, just think about that. I really enjoyed the two western finals games with Shelby and Hibriten in 2017 and 2018.
