LA, it begs the question. How many 2A basketball programs have been hurt by football athletes, from other teams, participating in a competition that already has an outcome? It’s a reasonable question.

I have been following this site for going on 15 years and there is hands down no group more humble and respectful than the Shelby guys! Considering just how good they have been over the years and all the championships they have! They're truly a class act. Played against them back in '06 @ Pisgah. One of the biggest games I ever played in. I still talk to or check in with a few of the golden lions that I've met over the years since and always like to see them doing well.

That Pisgah team was great... Throwing the ball all over the field. Qb was deadly #4 and #12 very good receivers... What I remember most about that game was other than the very good offense , #51 #98 and #8 on defense, those kids GOT AFTER it.......
Heck of a ball club you all had in 2006 ... Still the best atmosphere of any games Ive seen in person.....
