I know THE MIGHTY GOLDEN LIONS are huge FAVORITES as they should be, they always have a very STRONG TEAM, but THE YOUNG MOUNTIES have BEATEN them 2 of the last 3 YEARS.We’ll let me change that to 13-14 pts
I hope it don’t rain! If I had been able to see South Point in the preseason scrimmages I’d probably go to Shelby Friday night. And sit on the visitors side of course. Not because I like KM, I just dislike Shelby more. Good luck to both teams. I don’t even care who wins.
What’s to see at SP game that you haven’t seen 1,000 times before. Dive left, Dive right, QB keeper. Rinse and repeat. Yawn. Same old, same old with SP. Go to Shelby/KM game for exciting High School football at its best.
Well from what I saw you can’t call them the red midgets anymore especially on offense
SP is gonna be hard to handle on the offensive side of the hall… harder than normal ! Only thing that could be called a slight weakness is wingbacks didn’t look as speedy as usual , and the defensive backfield continued struggles defending the forward pass ha ha … of course this is seeing them once from a cellphone feed online on Facebook
huge offensive line and I saw two fullbacks that can tote the mail and a very elusive qb that can read the option and throw it too

I guess that’s the closest South Point will ever come to and endorsement from a Shelby guy! Thanks I think. Five to six minute drives resulting in TD’s can make the defensive side a little easier to except. That could put extra pressure on opposing offense’s .
I wouldn’t be shocked, KM should be really good this year.
I disagree 100%. KM is the bigger, faster team across the board overall and will win this game.
Just like any game between closely matched teams. Who ever plays the cleaner game(penalties and turnovers) will win. That's my opinion anyway. Hope it is as good as it should be and both teams play well.

Lol idk much - but if I had to bet a K$ man I’d have to bet on those mighty mighty Golden Lions. Honestly- I won’t lose sleep over it. It could/ should be a good one tho. Shelby probably has to turn it over and get some bad calls but what do IK

Mount Tabor is 4A and Dudley looked sloppy offensively first game but they did last year as well. I don’t know why but Dudley looked better in the chambers scrimmage. They had a lot of penalties every drive tonight.
I could have sworn they was 3a my fault well it looks like the only team kings mountain gotta worry about is Dudley then cause I don’t see anything from the east teams that special to me not gonna lie lol
Kings Mountain plays in the best 3A conference in NC. The Big South. They still have to play Crest, South Point, Stewart Cramer and Ashbrook. They might win them all, but they might not.
I don’t see anybody else in the way either but at the same time it’s still early and you don’t want to get ahead of yourself. One game at a time.
