KM defense looked fast but Kinda small I got Shelby 42-14..It’s gonna be hard to pressure Lee with that O Line Shelby has.
So KM has small offensive line to match the small running backs? Or do they have middle size backs this year?
Small, slashing, speed back. Caleb Holland 5’9” 150.
I thought all Cleveland Co. Teams were not very good in Secondary, think Lee has a field day at passing.
Shelby will need to find way to stop fast rb on edge.
But I didn't get to see 1st string D out there enough fri. Of Shelbys D.

KM has go size on there O Line.. the KM D Line was sorta small
I believe it will be a close game but I would probably bet on Shelby as well. Our secondary worries me a little bit but hopefully we can keep Shelby offense off the field by running the ball. I also would say I don’t believe either team showed much at the jamboree so I think that scrimmage might be hard to judge things on.
I’ll take Shelby….come to think of it, I’ll take Shelby every week this year! 
I just hope the BIG STRONG SHELBY PLAYERS want HURT the SMALL YOUNG MOUNTIES PLAYERS.
One of the best match-ups in the state this week. KM needs to take the air out of the ball and limit Shelby possessions. Maybe AJ Richardson gets some carries. If Shelby gets to running down hill...watch out.

I'll take Shelby by 14 but considering it's a county game and it's the 1st week of the season, who knows.

This is the game of the week for me. You can’t miss this one. With the game being at Shelby and a wet field you have to take care of the ball. These two teams are hungry to play and I think it will be a great close game. It could very well come down to who has the ball last.
If Shelby stops KM run game game over. Shelby will score and score some more.
KM has been young for the last 20 years, when are they going to grow up?

I went to the ALWS yesterday and Shelby was practicing. That o-line is the truth. Good grief. That's a dang good football team. I watched for a good while.
It is what it is and the truth is the truth. If this Shelby team plays to its potential every-week. They'll not be beaten by anyone on their schedule. I hate typing that but real is real.

We were sitting at the jamboree and I could not believe how many of the KM fans were cheering for us to "lose".

I appreciate an honest comment. If Burns, Crest or KM is playing anyone other than Shelby then I am definitely pulling for them to win. If I see that one of them has talent I'll admit it.
Burns and KM have great running backs.
I am worried about Crest's youth and kicking game. 3 underclassmen (I believe) starting on the Oline as well as some on defense. Unfortunately, I saw nothing out of the kicking game from Crest. That is very worrisome. My kids (who go to Crest) said they do not have a kicker/punter. Coach needs to hit up a soccer player to come kick. I love what the new coach is bringing and hopefully y'all are back to winning titles very soon.
If it is dry and Daylin is "on" Friday I see Shelby winning by as much as they want. Last year we had one of the best defenses in the state. This year we will have one of the best offenses in the state. But Jayden, Tyler, and Hollifield will anchor another great defense,

I'm going to tell you what I think. I truly believe MP is doing it on purpose. I think MP is acting trying their best to keep their true identity a secret. Just think about it. There is no other explanation for any of it.

You probably have some County fans pulling for teams against Shelby because of how loud, obnoxious, and arrogant some of the Shelby fans have become in some of the social media sites. I always respected Shelby and admired the GL program but some of the Shelby fans on these FaceBook high school sites have begin to cause a lot of hate to start coming Shelby’s way from a multitude of team fan bases. It’s been pretty ridiculous at times with some Shelby fans going to other teams fan pages or peoples FaceBook page running their mouth. Shelby fans traditionally were some of the best fans to talk football with or enjoy a game with but I believe those days are almost over in some quarters.

Those fans exist in every fan base, especially those teams that win often. Kings Mountain has often thought it was too good to even be associated with Cleveland County anyway. Miss me with any talk of arrogance.
