Not sure about anything with Polk.
But after 2 weeks being banged up, alot of players didn't play last night,
Was glad seeing alot of under- class man play.
Shelby Starters at times on D had trouble stopping the triple option of Owen, which I thought there Qb and Rb we're really good players.
The kids at Shelby know it's time to turn it up a notch.
We welcome our friends from Polk next week. Hope for a good game.

Boy we got a big hill to climb Friday!!!
Coach Ollis will have the boys ready but at the end of the day I don’t think the have the fire power to take down Shelby. With most of the team playing both ways that’s what hurts us the most ... by the 2nd half our line is pretty tired. But you gotta play and find out 👍

Unfortunately for Polk Co they won't be able to keep up with Shelby. It may be close for a quarter or so, but Shelby's just too good.

we won't be able to keep up you are right , Shelby is awesome and we got no business being in 2a to begin with , there's 9 teams in the 1a playoffs that have more students than we do , but you play the hand your dealt and we will come out next week and play as best we can, I don't think anyone here has the illusion of coming home victorious

#17 Polk County at #1 Shelby....down the mountain and into the Lion's Den!

Polk County (7-3 (3-2)) has lost to all playoff teams that are still alive. They are a solid team and have outscored their opponents 26-22 and were all business against SW Randolph winning 29-14 to advance.

Shelby (10-1 (6-0)) finished 1st in their conference and have outscored their opponents 46-16, winning their first round 55-3 versus Owen.

This is a tall tall order for Polk - they'll need to play keep away, dominate the line, and use all their trick plays. I think this game goes 28-0 at halftime and finishes 49-14. Shelby has too much offense to keep track of. Congrats to the Lions.

Nothing to be said really ..... I mean , I have no grand illusion Polk coming in and punching Shelby in the mouth and running away with the game for some great win..... it could happen tho 👍

Lee from shelby breaks all time single game passing yardage record… 500 yards passing and four td in a little over 2 and a half quarters amazing performance with 409 in first half
