Mateen did not use an AR-15. It was a Sig Sauer MCX carbine that shares no major (important) parts with the AR-15 spec. Lowers are different, bolt is different, barrel connection is different... The long and short of it is until the president decides to take Isis and radical Islam as a serious threat (which he won't ) we will face the possibility of a threat every day.
