Stupid people need to quit trying to equate what Christians have done in the past with what is happening now. It just makes you look stupid. Lets deal with the here and now and fix the problem. Follow the left if you want to and suffer their fate.

Unfortunately, that's not going to happen. European descendants, however, would be wise to not only consider the actions of Christianity against other cultures (e.g. Crusades) but also the actions of the Christian Church against other Christians, and those numerous time periods (e.g. religious wars of western Europe) that Christians had to fight against armies sponsored by their own Church in order to avoid their own elimination. Those times when Christians had to recognize the need to fight for their own survival against their own church, apparently now forgotten, as Christians refuse to recognize the need to fight for their own survival against someone else's.

Our own ignorance and passiveness is our enemy's greatest weapon. In the current example the media and news articles are already building it up that Omar Mateen himself was gay, that his killing of 49 gay others was just an act resulting from acceptance issues. Our fault. Pay no attention to his 9-11 call pledging allegiance to ISIS, his father's ties to Al Qaeda and Afghan political affiliations.

Irony - this generation that demonstrated in the 60s and said it is moral to object and challenge authority has now produced it's own leadership telling your that it is selfish and corrupt to do anything other than accept, sacrifice, relent.

A related question: what exactly would it take to have the focus shift to radical Islam? As in "holy ****, these psychos really are trying to kill us all"?

Monthly attacks like this? Weekly? Less frequent attacks but higher death counts? What would it take for Obama to get there, or am I just missing the point completely that it is indeed never going to occur?
A golf course being attacked might get obamas attention.

I think you guys should read an updated story on that guy. Now the report is whomever originally tweeted out the story misread or misunderstood what they had heard.

Ah. nothing to see here guys, the real problem is that men can't go into womens bathrooms. Until we fully understand and fix the trans gender bathroom problem, innocent people will continue to pay the price.

Jeez, some of you people need to get your priorities straight. smh

Hitler said this

“Besides that, I believe one thing: there is a Lord God! And this Lord God creates the peoples.” [1] ~Adolf Hitler

“We were convinced that the people need and require this faith. We have therefore undertaken the fight against the atheistic movement, and that not merely with a few theoretical declarations; we have stamped it out” [2] ~Adolf Hitler

Hitler was allover the map because he was a meth addict.
There's nothing there that even hints of being a Christian. A lot of people believe in a God that has nothing to do with Christianity. Hitler and Himmler studied all different facets of the occult and believed in a new messiah that would someday save Germany, that's not the Christ thats in bible scriptures. I always laugh when people say Hitler was a Christian.

You're wrong. He was a believer regardless of what you say. He believed in Christ and God.
No wants to be grouped with Hitler, I'd be backtracking too.

Well, again, he may have believed in God, may even have been a christian. But he did NOT have 6 million jews killed in the name of Christ. Are you saying otherwise?

Not at all. But I do believe Hitler thought he was going to Heaven.

Let your God be the judge.

So, this Mateen guy had some pretty conflicting crap going through his head....
  • Afghan immigrant parents with a seemingly batshit crazy dad, (check out the articles on his father and Youtube videos)
  • Pursued a career in security and law enforcement, weapons training/tough guy job
  • Frequented gay clubs and gay social media, very possibly gay
  • Islamic ties, traveled to Islamic countries whereby America and gays would be denounced.
  • Supposedly cheered Twin Towers bombing indicating he disliked America and/or what it represents..but lived here

Will be interesting to see how the left spins all of this...."persecuted devout gay Muslim cracks due to right wing extremism brought on by the combination of intense homophobia and Islamaphobia."

all nullified by the possibility that he may have worked security at a Toby Keith concert at some point and was micro aggressed by American imperialism.

Not at all. But I do believe Hitler thought he was going to Heaven.

Let your God be the judge.

Hitler thought Religion was for the weakminded, anything said in public was simply to keep the population in Germany from turning on him.

This isn't about Hitler was a bad guy so let's make sure we reject him. It's simply the facts Willy.

He didn't kill people because he was a Christian, he didn't kill people because he was or wasn't an atheist. He had people killed because he thought they were unfit and subhuman.
He was a big believer in natural selection, and he believed the Germanic people were superior.

This meme is the biggest misconception still in existence.
Reich-era Germany was a pursuit for an ethnically homogeneous Germany, which was mainly striven for through deportation, not mass-murder, as is always purported.

No, you're wrong. He was baptized in the Roman Catholic Church but in adulthood became disdainful of Christianity. His biographer said he was a materialist who believed in neither God nor concience. Historians have written that if he couldn't eradicate Christianity, he hoped instead to change them to a nazi worldview.

In all my years in education and studying the topic, I've never seen on credible source claim he was a Christian, and it's not like I wasn't exposed to far left propaganda who hates christians.

He was not a christian, lol. The acts he committed on their own contradict christian principles and beliefs. He wanted to slaughter christians.

Right. There may have been a brief time when he pandered to Christians, but if he did that's all it was, just so he could get all the support he could. Nothing anywhere suggests he was a Christian except for when he was a child I guess he was a Catholic. Many historians have said he would've eradicated Christians if they didn't convert to nazism just like the Jews later on if he'd won the war.
