Should Nicholls State ever play another SEC team?

in any sport? I vote no. And if I were Byrne I'd make it a point to tell every AD at the next SEC meetings that they are black-balled.

That there are plenty of other powder puff teams for SEC schools to schedule in every other sport. I don't think they should receive anymore money from SEC schools. I don't really see this happening tho. In a year or two ppl will forget about this and start scheduling them again if their not already on the schedules.

I think their relatively close location (Louisiana) will continue to make them an attractive opponent for teams in the SEC west, particularly for mid-week games.

I say no, because they are a bunch of pussies. I don't really care about basketball or football (if they play football?) but I hope that no SEC team schedules them for a baseball series.

at least I'm pretty sure that they will.

Of course, we've burned bridges with Tulane over Jarrod Parks, Arkansas State because of Raffo, and now Nicholls State.

Bring on Delta State.

We're just pissed that a coach would just up and decide that he wasn't going to play a game. I can guaran-damn-tee you that the Nafoom board would be just as pissed if Tommy Raffo at Arkansas St. had done the same to you. But he went above and beyond the call of duty and agreed to move a 17-ing home game to Oxford just to get the game in.

Any more than you do.

If Nick State's on the schedule, WTF.......just go out and beat them.
As we now should expect to, anywhere, anytime, anyplace.

If the Nichols AD says that picture posted on Veazy's blog was taken at 11:00 Sunday, he is a lying SOB, because I was at the field doing some cleanup at our trailer at that exact time and the field looked nothing like that. If not for the tarp being down, it was damn near playable at that time. In fact, the grounds crew was working on the field at 11:00 and preparing the tarp for removal.

There's comes a point where you have to say it's nichols state, and move on. As far as I'm concerned the Byrne blog post should be the end of it from our side. We made our point, now move on. If other SEC schools don't want to play Nichols now, let it be because they saw their unprofessionalism, not because we lobbied them to.

He doesn't know when that picture was taken any more than I do. All he's doing is supporting his coach. If his coach told him the picture was taken at 11:00, that's what he went with.

He said it was taken by a player's parent and it was taken at 11:00. That was exactly what he said, so I said he is lying. If he didn't know, he needs keep his mouth shut.

is the Nicholls State administration lied about the whole situation at least from our perspective. I think that is why there is such a continued reaction to everything.

I mean, its what, 5 days post-incident? The little pissing match between Byrne and the Nicholls AD was just ridiculous as well. They were channelling eggbowl.com, in my little worthless opinion.

I could understand if it was a big-name program or an SEC program that did it to one of us.

But its effing Nicholls State.

NICHOLLS STATE.

A nobody in college athletics.

I don't care that y'all are continuing the ranting about it, as you can do whatever you like. It was just my opinion that its a little overboard.

and keeps offering rebuttals, it will remain an issue.

it was pretty much ended after the Byrne beatdown as to what happened, but Nicholls State's AD just had to say something.

It is not really about getting the W. I wouldn't even really want a win for a game not played on the field. It is just that the NCAA apparently made the right decision, but publicly it appeared they relied on false information provided to them by Nicholls. Since then, their AD continues to be false in his statements despite being refuted by neutral third parties.

It is simply a matter of right and wrong. It wouldn't matter to me if it were Nicholls or Southern Cal.
