We will win this weekend. I'm more confident that we beat Texas than Arkansas.Yep. I'm more disappointed that we've found ways to lose games we should have won.
At least last year I could check out after the Toledo game and just shrug my shoulders. This year the Tenn and Florida games have hurt a lot more because we were RIGHT THERE with opportunities in both.
So yeah we're much improved across the board but we haven't gotten over the hump. I'm hoping we can pick up a win against Arkansas and maybe sneak another one from someone else.
Be realistic the god/devil that the Mannings pray to has granted Arch his wish for this weekend. We will win this weekend. I'm more confident that we beat Texas than Arkansas.

I really had UTenn and UF as wins on our way to 8 wins this year.
Both were very winnable games.
I really did. And now I really believe we could have.Honest question: did you expect/think we would win 8 games this season?
I thought Lebby called a good game Saturday. Shapen just didn't execute. We had three would be TD's that Shapen missed on.Turns out....Lebby is not a great play-caller.
You get what you pay for. Lebby makes the 15th-best salary in a 16-team league.
We are paying for on-the-job-training.
We are really paying for not getting a better qb in the portal. I'm concerned that Lebby couldn't convince any of his previous qbs to follow him. I know money and bigger better programs talk. But Auburn right now is no better than we are. Not that Arnold would be winning more games eitherI thought Lebby called a good game Saturday. Shapen just didn't execute. We had three would be TD's that Shapen missed on.
I'll grant you that, partially.I thought Lebby called a good game Saturday. Shapen just didn't execute. We had three would be TD's that Shapen missed on.
The entire stadium knew KT was running it on our first drive too. But that's what having a mobile QB can do for you who is also a ***** to tackle. He broke a tackle and got the corner and scored.I'll grant you that, partially.
The decision at the end, obviously, devastating.
But the 4 straight QB runs. And faking the jet sweep instead of handing it off. Twice, the sweep guy would have gotten the 1st down.
And when KT comes in....the entire stadium knows he's running it
I think the 3rd and 4th down plays at midfield were reads and both QB’s made the wrong read. Sweep guy definitely gets a first down on both plays and probably gets a TD on 3rd down.I'll grant you that, partially.

Arnold is freaking terrible. He’s worse than Shapen. He can run but he literally cannot throw the ball more than five yards down the field with any accuracy. We are really paying for not getting a better qb in the portal. Like someone else said before:It sucks. That is all.
Yeah which bugs me also is if lebby can actually evaluate a qb or does he go off scouts? I miss Mullen and leach for those very reasons. Kiffin does it well but we really need someone that can evaluate a qb and get the most out of them.Arnold is freaking terrible. He’s worse than Shapen. He can run but he literally cannot throw the ball more than five yards down the field with any accuracy.
We are absolutely improved and heading the correct direction. However, we have not yet been able to overcome Emstate tendencies
We aren't far off but good lord is it frustrating to watch the process.
I don't think we'll beat either one of them. But I'd love to be wrong. We will win this weekend. I'm more confident that we beat Texas than Arkansas.
I really did. And now I really believe we could have.
In that case, at least as fans we'd feel better about Lebby having put the team in position to win the game.Had Shapen made a good throw and we gained 10 yards knowing our luck the fg would’ve been blocked. Ha
Since we haven't seen Kromenhoek at all, does that mean we "missed on" him too?I thought Lebby called a good game Saturday. Shapen just didn't execute. We had three would be TD's that Shapen missed on.
Yeah. Both times that should have gone to the receiver going backside. It was wide open, like you say especially on 3rd down. Not sure if KT missed the read or if they’ve simplified it so much for him it was a keeper all the way or not.I think the 3rd and 4th down plays at midfield were reads and both QB’s made the wrong read. Sweep guy definitely gets a first down on both plays and probably gets a TD on 3rd down.
Yeah. We dodged a bullet when he went to Auburn.Arnold is freaking terrible. He’s worse than Shapen. He can run but he literally cannot throw the ball more than five yards down the field with any accuracy.
We COULD be 6-1, but I dont see how it can be honestly argued that we SHOULD be 6-1.
I truly wish I had that level of optimism in life.
It would have been an absolute steal. If UF had even an average QB this is a blowout. If Sunbelt Billy doesn’t butcher a 3& 1 play call, UF runs the clock out easily. That said, at the end we should have won the game. No excuse to lose it.Like I mentioned, people only see our side of the game and ignore anything that happens with the other team.
Florida’s postgame win expectancy on Saturday was 77%. Which tells me for all the “we shoulda won easily”, had we won it would’ve been a steal by us, based on the statistics of how the game played out.
But if his dad is a problem like some are saying, then they wanting KT to be a hero. And he’s not going to come in and hand the damn ball off regardless of how open the play was.Yeah. Both times that should have gone to the receiver going backside. It was wide open, like you say especially on 3rd down. Not sure if KT missed the read or if they’ve simplified it so much for him it was a keeper all the way or not.
