I kid, I kid. Looks like a pretty decent roster to me. Missing a few names I thought would be on there, but I know there are several other highly ranked recruits playing in other postseason games.

There will be more players added to this roster, I know most likely Sam Pendleton will be at Notre Dame, QueSean Brown will be with Duke and QB Raynor will be at a D-1 school; they basically have nothing to play for and it's not worth the risk of injury. Unfortunately, it's been that way for years but it's a great honor to be selected. .. Congrats

Am i missing something? The game will be played on December 17 on the campus of Spartanburg High in Spartanburg, S.C. Are you guys mistaken this game with the East/West All star game, which is played at a later date?

You are correct….my mistake!

East West All Star game will be moving in 2023 to the week after the state title games. Not sure if that will be the week before the Shrine Bowl or the same day but in 2022 the Shrine Bowl is the week right after the NC state finals.

Being played that close to Christmas hurts the gate for people that are not connected directly to a player. Christmas parties, shopping, getting ready for the holiday.

Shrine Bowel sounds rather painful. I think I got that one time after eating at Backyard Grill in Climax.
