Hadn't seen one posted yet now that we know Armstrong is out.

0-0 after regulation. Nebraska wins 12-9 in 4 overtimes. Purdue misses their FG to send it to a 5th.

NU - 20
Purdue - 24

The issues on this roster will not be fixed until after the season and the great purge begins.

I honestly have no idea, I have no idea what to expect from Fyfe. If he does well then good. If he does really well, then here comes a quarterback controversy.
This easily the most 'interesting' game of the season for myself. Anyone else agree with that statement?

Purdue will play us like a bowl game - one of their last real shots at a W. With all our injuries and TA out - I think it's a toss-up. Turnovers, special teams play will probably determine the outcome.

I agree it is going to be an interesting game. I really have no idea how Ryker is going to do, but just my gut is that he won't be good because I don't think Ryker hold a candle to Tommy. Tommy isn't great by any means, but he seems to be able to extend plays and a lot of times make plays. I'm not sure we get that out of Fyfe, and if the O-line doesn't hold up... Look out. I'm in the Husker Camp, but not thinking Ryker will be great. Just an opinion.

It just feels dirty to say that Purdue will be a tossup.. Ugh...

About what I expect too. Guessing win or lose it will be excruciating and ugly to watch.

Mike Riley does not yell at a ref. Cavanaugh does not substitute. Nebraska runs the ball 75 times but loses on Purdue's last offensive snap. Message boards light up with angry demands for AJ Bush to start. SilentCommit's wife deals with another weekend of grouchy husband syndrome.

Purdue - 8
Nebraska - 7

If the players want to play for this coach it will be a solid workmanlike win. If there is the group of malcontents that some suspect then this game will be flat, win or lose.

Players rally when they need and energy and effort show that. My prediction is the team does rally and the game is a 2-3 score difference.

Due to the wind/rain element and Fyfe starting, I predict this will be the most boring game of the year in the B1G. I predict a 13-3 type game Huskers. The type of game only diehard fans and degenerate gamblers will have any interest in, and plenty of Saturday afternoon naps will be taken during.

DPE punt returns and Purdue turnovers help decide the game in Nebraska's favor.
