looks like we won't be playing in the post season, he'll have an early jump on the buffet lines before next season. God only knows what he'll weight in October.....I pity our next coach.

and they play 82 of them. I believe the rigors of an NBA season would literally be life threatening to Renardo right now.

...I don't get it. Fat, lazy, and no heart. And guess what....that's on Stans too. We're in mid February and our starting center is still out of shape? Do we not do any conditioning, or does Stans make an exception for Sidney's fat *** and let him eat twinkies while everyone else runs?

You say Sidney has to come back, but I hope he leaves. He's more of a detriment to the team than he is a benefit. Any coach worth a damn would've run him off by now.

Unless you're saying he should have seen that during recruitment and avoided him.

Now fat, Stansbury could definitely do something about that. Or should be able to.

If stans hasn't got Sid in shape or this team "gelling" so far, he is failing. I completely respect where he has taken us in the past, but it has been said that he has lost his "fire." I won't throw a fit like coach if he is still around next year, but I will be pretty disappointed. If I was AD I don't know that I would fire him, but I would do my best to convince him to retire. He should be considering it anyway.

Lack of heart and laziness are personal characteristics. Sometimes they can be changed (sometimes) by a strong leader or coach. But the person to be changed has to have respect for that leader/coach/mentor and strive to do better for that person. From what 90% of what you guys have said, Sidney has walked all over Stansbury from day one. How could he respect him enough to want to change?

My original point was, those generally are character issues that have been embedded for a long time, and very few, if any, coaches can change character flaws like those in two years. Blame Stansbury for Sidney still being fat, but if he had no heart before he got to State, chances are, Lombardi couldn't change that. He'd just get rid of him.

ETA: Way to totally change the reason for my response.

Can't blame Stans for his charachter. That is something he learned from his upbringing.
CAN blame Stans for continuing to play him. Besides the fact that we are playing 4 against 5 most nights, the other players on the team feel like they are being treated unfairly. Why does Shitcan get to eat donuts and do nothing at practice while the rest of our team has to work their asses off? Stansbury's teams have always been furious on Defense with good conditioning. This year we have none of that. We have talent that have sticks up their asses because the The RSS is getting special treatment.

It is an experiment that went horribly wrong. Stans could actually save his *** by cutting that clown, rallying the troups, winning the sec tourny and making the NCAA's.
