Sidney was our leading scorer and rebounder last night with 13 and 7**

to be the best on the court? I think that's what is so frustrating about him, he has lottery pick potential, but just doesn't seem to want it.

We a far better team with him on it than without him, but some people just can't look past the Nacho incident from last year...

with a relentless effort and adequate conditioning. He scored 13 and grabbed 7 boards without even trying.

I will give you that he hustled on the offensive end of the court most of the time, but he doesn't on defense. He stands around and walks around more than any college basketball player I have ever seen. If he has to do that b/c he isn't in shape or is tired or is breathing hard, then put him in for no more than 2 minutes at a time. Tell him if he walks around or just stands around at all then he is sitting on the bench. Then we may actually see him hustle.

we are a better team with him in the game. I see people complaining about his hustle, but I don't think it would matter if he played non-stop for 40 minutes and ran in place during time outs and then did windsprints after the game- people would still complain.

If he was here for another season and lost a decent amount of weight, he'd still have the backlash he's had for the past few seasons unless he just played out of his mind for every game and was the undeniable number 1 player in the country (realistically that's not happening). He and MSU is so fragmented right now that even if he did get better and have more effort, he'll still carry around the fat, lazy and uncaring stigma whether it's warranted or not.

If we could start getting a good 30 mins from the guy by the end of the season we could be very good.

If Sidneywas in shape and gave his all for his team, everyone would love the 17 out of him. But that will never happen. It's like the basketball team as a whole. If Stansbury would put a good product on the court, the hump would be a hostileenvironment. People would be excited aboutState bball. But they aren't, because we can't stand watching the **** that he puts out there. If he puts a good product out there, no more getting **** from the fans. Cuz we know we can do,soooooo much better. Same thing with Sidney. He's been here for three years and still is not in shape.Do you want us to give him a cookie. If Sidney played like Moultrie, he would never hear another word. But he is and always will be a lazy, fat, piece of ****. So he will continue to get **** for it. If he doesn't like it, he can change.

really make me despise people some times. Just because he's not playing his all for our university makes him a 17n "piece of ****"? Where do you come off acting like someone's merits as a person can only be assessed from their performances in a goddamned sport?<div>
</div><div>You will never hear me talk about him being the hardest working player to ever wear maroon and white. He's not, and he more than likely never will. But damn, I will still support the guy not only because he represents our university but because despite what you may or may not want to believe, we are better with him.</div><div>
</div><div>But Jesus Christ... No... 17ers like you only think that his only calling in life is to make sure you're happy while you watch your team(s) from the comfort of your recliner with lost popcorn kernels between the cushions. 17 you and 17 people like you.</div>

1 - He is slow - how good would he be if he were in shape - I have no idea but I am suspicious he would be very special.

2 - There is a place just outside the three point line above the key that if he is there and they feed him the ball, a three is almost guarnteed.

3 - Did I say he is slow? he has three or four trips up and down the court in him and then he walks. When I was his age, I could "military jog" four miles. Maybe he needs eight weeks of Army Basic Training and a Drill Sgt to kick his butt. Worked for me.

4 - There is a move he makes with the ballin the paint, a spin and shoot from under the goal. They could put four guysbetween him and the spot he shoots and it seems like he could move all of them aside to make his shot.

5 - It hurts to watch him move down the court when he gets tired. At times I want to get him a golf cart or roller skates so he can keep up.

6 - The man can forever more get a rebound, when he wants one, which is not every time he has a chance.

7 - I have no idea what he would be like if he had the intensity of Bost, Moultree, Hoodor Steele.

8 - I wonder if th eeating and weight problem is psychological - family related. There is something going on there. I wish he could get it behind him becaus eif he ever does, he could be really special.

9 - Did I say he can be incredibly slow at times.

I love to watch him play when he is doing his thing the way he can do it.

I hope you mean defensive intensity, because he is a good (not great) on ball defender. But on the offensive side he either catches and shoots, or holds the ball and waits for Bost to come get it for a reset. Other than that, you made good points.</p>

I put Sidney last and then he blows me away and then goes right back to last place.

20 minutes of an intense Sidney would kill whoever we played.

He has it in him. I can see flashes of it - and then just as quickly it dies away.

of every practice from here on Sidney should just run sprints from baseline to baseline. Seriously. This would help his game more than shooting a 1000 jumpers a day. MAKE IT HAPPEN STANSBURY!!!!

is because all I can remember from the game is watching him stand there letting Tenn. players run past him to the goal and then on the offensive side half *** posting up while just walking around. I know I've seen this in a bunch of games this season and you are thinking damn this guy is horrible but then you go read the stat line and you can't believe that he had such a good game. I think a lot people remember the negative about Sidney but in reality Sidney means a lot to this team and our success. If he ever put it together, this team would be unstoppable.

but someone who consistently finds my posts to let me know how much of a horrible poster I apparently am simply because we may disagree. Yea.. I consider you as the person who has gladly taken that mantle.

I think you have me confused with someone else, I might have replied to two or three of your posts ever to let you know that I think you are retarded. I do think most of what you post is incorrect and mostly annoying because you seem to post something stupid in every thread. But as for finding your posts to let you know how much of a horrible poster you are, yeah I think you are mistaken.

And I take that as a compliment that you don't agree with me because honestly, I don't want to have any kind of sympathy from a 17ing douche guzzler who's only time to feel like a man is to come on a message board to flex their pinky muscle. If you disagree with me, that's one thing, but when you feel the need to talk **** to someone just because they don't hold the same opinion as you, then all I can say is 17 off.
