Intresting new information from a player's parent.
I just got a text from my sister who is the mother of one of the players after the game one of our players got hit in the mouth with the cowbell while they(the parents) were waiting to board the bus. The player who was hit with the cowbell and the perpetrator have been led away in handcuffs. They had to get the police to stand in a blockade around the buses. The taunting was withering I undersand from adult grown men to the busses. Even longtime state people have never seen it so bad.

So one of our players was hit with a cowbell and the police took he and the player into custody? Hopefully, the player will press charges and this will be the end of the cowbell. That would be the best thing I've heard all season.

Two years ago proved the cowbells are here to stay
even though that lawsuit was dropped, after seeing a fan get injured at Scott Field and then to see the SEC make them an exception to the ban on noisemakers, it shows the bells are permanent. End Of Story.

Sue State, Stricklin, Mullens and the SEC for all they are worth. The SEC was aware after last year that a cowbell could be used as a weapon and now they've attacked one of our players.

I hope our player makes a damn mint off the SEC for damages in addition to criminal prosecution.

I just got a text from my sister who is the mother of one of the players after the game one of our players got hit in the mouth with the cowbell while they(the parents) were waiting to board the bus. Neither party was what I would call being in the right. The dude with the cowbell had camped out behind player family long enough to be asked to back off. He was right over the shoulder of a pair of moms, giving his comments and a fair amount of cowbell. Regardless of cowbell, dude was taunting family who were waiting at the buses for their kids. Common sense should have kicked in, but it didn't as the guy was making it a point to agitate the family members, and before long a player stood up for his mother. Nothing different than anyone here would have done for your mom.

Reminds me of after we beat Florida last year in Gainsville. We were waiting on our kids & coaches outside. Urban Meyer was leaving the same way in his silver Mercedes. His kids' window in the back were slightly cracked & some douche beside me starts cussing Meyer's little kid while ringing the his bell. I told the guy to quit & he turns to me and says "the little bastard deserves it for being Meyer's kid!" I snatched his *** up & said "we can't pick our parents & our parents can't pick us. I'll net ur folks are REAL proud of you right now!" What a dumbass! I hate the bears but man, yhese kids ain't pros. And those boys are somebody's kids out there. Sheesh!

I remember being in the student section for this year's LSU game and some drunk dumbass was taunting an Ole Miss kid that was at our game with a friend wearing our colors. Somehow the douchebag found out this kid is going to Ole Miss despite him wearing State colors and started ringing his cowbell directly in front of the kids face threatening to whoop his *** if he didn't leave.<div>
