Clearly the defense needs a ton of work, BUT there aren't many teams that survive their opponent hitting 19 3's at a 50% clip...and while it may have looked close, we were never not in control of that game.

The silver lining I took from this is we are undoubtedly a top 300 team.

Biggest silver lining to this season so far is that PJ is the ONLY player lacing up every week that will even come close to consideration in jumping to the NBA next year. Everybody but Travis should be laser focusing on how to be a good college player right now.

No. If our staff bothered to watch any tape of VMI, then the whole game plan would have been no switching and no doubling down low. That’s as simple as it should have been.

If our five star big guys can’t guard VMI’s big guys one on one, then we’ve got big problems.
Not to mention, if they score inside it’s two points, not three.

This team has a lot of really solid players. I’m just a bit concerned that we don’t have any great players.
