I am taking Highland and the points lol
I would in a heartbeat. We won't win by 70. Devine wouldn't allow it to get like that. With running clock rules, it'll be hard to have enough time to score that much. Younger players will get some much needed PT for sure. Although our JV's did play in Asheville last night. So not sure how that will effect anything.

FH put up 70 in one half on North Stanly back in 90s. They cut the 3rd and 4th quarters to 5 minutes each with a running clock and we still scored 3 more touchdowns. Final was 91-6 That game still holds the record for most extra points in a single game (13) in North Carolina kicked by Jay Sutton who went on to kick at Appalachian State. So putting up 70 in the running clock Era is still possible. 😆 🤣

Thing is you can't really tell your kids to just go out there and lay down. You can put in every single 2nd and 3rd string player you have but if the other team still can't stop you, that's not on you. Gotta let your backups play too when they get a chance. Not fair to them to tell them they can't.

That's what FH did that night. Everyone played. The other team was just awful. North Stanly has drastically improved since those days.
