Mr. Simmons, it seems as if your site is updated later in the week this season compared to seasons past. Is that accurate or is it just me? I'm not complaining. I love the site.

Northeastern #2 with 2 losses? I think not. Not even certain they're top 10 but so much for computers.

Can't believe I am taking up for Northeastern either, but they are definitely Top 10. Until I am proven otherwise I would say they are Top 4 at a minimum.

Wizard of East is so so so disrespectful...the 2 teams who NHS lost to probably would have beat any other 2a school in the state..Dont forget Lake Taylor is nationally ranked and NHS was winning that game all the way to the last few seconds, without the 2 special teams turnovers they would have beaten them. and I challenge Mr. Wizard to chose his top 2a team that he would pick to beat the 2 teams who beat NHS.. doubt there is one..

dirtybird88, I'm not being disrespectful, just being real. Nationally ranked? By who and seriously how could there be any national rankings about high school team be serious? It's just a matter of opinion which is very biased. I believe my post the past year or so I've complimented Northeastern for going out of state to play someone since their conference generally doesn't prepare them well for playoff competition. As for who would go play those two teams, I'd gladly like to so see our DarkHorses take either of them on. Might not win but I can assure you they'd compete and that's what's important wheather you could compete or not. Apparently Northeastern did but for polling purposes it's usually based on wins. Therefore I just can't see them being that highly ranked with 2 losses. There's no way for Simmons to equally weigh the level of competition of those teams since their schedules don't connect with any of the weighted teams.in NC but don't get me wrong I applaud Northeastern for playing them. It will pay dividends come playoff time.

Well the AP got them ranked Nationally top 10...and their #2 in the entire state of Va..and truly I believe your dark horses would compete, and true to your words alot of polls and rankings are bias...just look at how each all West teams regardless of strength of schedule or how many loses they always seem to find themselves at the too of the heap..NHS would love to play anybody willing to accept the challenge. . Due to low funding school districts don't like to travel during the season, so we need not be overlooked because of our geographic location. .

Lake Taylor has since dropped in a few of the National polls due to close calls the last two weeks, but they still are a darn good team who won the 4A state championship last year and have several D1 kids w/ offers on their roster. Wiz u been around too long to concern yourself w/ polls. Their is N.A.D.T. we can do about those! It'll all play out soon.

Can't call him disrespectful just because he doesn't believe your team is top ten material. Lol
