Minnesota plays a big lineup. They have 1 starter under 6'7

Should have gotten more minutes though

I mean I agree he should have played more at the expense of Paul but Cam was great and Pike wasn't going to 3 guard lineup bc of size most likely

The size of the opposing lineup has something to do with not playing a point guard?
Not wanting to go to a 3 guard lineup with Paul Cam and Simpson means less overall guard minutes. Simpson also has played more when Cam has struggled which wasn't the case tonight

Again I agree he should have played more and sat Paul but those are factors

Paul is a guard; it’s a guard replacing a guard. I love Paul, but Simpson should absolutely been on the floor the last 5 minutes

That’s just poor judgement. 3 good guards especially one that can drive to the hole , is your best option end game. Balm handlers, which Paul has not been

Maybe so, but Paul is a captain and therefore Pike will ride him. Same with Caleb. Right or wrong, it's that simple. Just like PSU rode Lundi.

He doesn’t have to start but he needs to get 15 minutes MINIMUM per game!… Id even say 20.

Simpson could have been in over Caleb on the last couple possessions. Caleb terrible free throw shooter in the clutch and ends up with the ball

This is my biggest beef from today, with not using the last time out after Caleb makes a foul shot

Why was Hyatt in the game late? We needed ball handlers & foul shooters. Like Simpson.
I don’t get it at all. Call timeout after the foul shot. Bring Simpson to pressure the ball

exactly Hyatt brings nothing at that point, its not like he can play D and he isnt a better ball handler than Derek who has already proven he could hit foul shots late

The most shocking loss I can ever remember
Been searching for who to blame
The fact Simpson didn’t play more says a lot
Who was on the floor the last 90seconds says everything.
Who ever is in charge of substituting and personal owns this!

Paul gives us nothing except playing basketball with his eyes closed.
You left out, amongst other things, poor body language, incessant whining, occasional cheap shots, nerve-racking in-bounding, inability to cover slashing guards, lack of willingness to drive to the basket, playing less than enthsiastic 1st halves etc,

Maybe he will transfer to Minnesota and beat us next year down stretch. Now that would be something. Too much Paul hate. I could also see Paul on Wisconsin.

Cam poorly defended winning shot ....
Very similar to blaming a field goal kicker who misses the last second, game winning kick. Even when it was others who did the damage. Just like last night. Your response was unnecessary.
