years and while he might pull off the occasional speed sweep that is about it.

I doubt he has the durability to be a feature back but that might find some situational uses for him, like the toss sweep you mentioned.

was that he was a track sprinter trying to play football. That, and he was a prima donna with a terrible attitude. The Bears got 2 good receivers last year, and I still hate we lost out on Brassell, but I just don't see much from Singleton that I like as a player.

Is that he didn't like contact in high school. I do think he could turn out to be a decent espy like receiver but I wouldn't expect anything at RB

That Jeff Scott is driving nails in the coffin for his time at OM...

Can't believe Freeze signed 4-5? Rb's and didn't get in a single EE. They will be hurting at that position next year. I look for them to completely destroy Mathers by having to play him as a premiere back from day 1 behind that o-line...

Yes we are paper thin at RB next year but Jeff Scott was held out of the last two practices because he had the flu. I figure it was a perfect chance to try something new and that's what they did. Mathers will not be the featured back next year and it's not like we are going to run Bama's play book with repeated runs up the middle. I expect 85% of our runs will be be draws, delays and sweeps. We are not going to line up and pound it. Swing passes and quick hitters will be our run game. RB's will be a prioroity again next year in recruiting because we are so thin even with the number of RB's signed this year.

Just curious as to how you know that? Freeze has yet to coach a game at Ole Miss and you already know his playbook? Are you a coach there?

Freeze stated he wanted basketball on grass in his introduction. You don't play basketball on grass running power plays up the middle. It is a spread offense that uses speed on the corners and misdirection in the run game. Of course this is all just coming from the spring practice reports and what he has done for the last 3 years at Ark State so you're right what do I know.

in the SEC with maybe the exception of what Kentucky tried several years back. It is hard to imagine being consistently effective against SEC defenses without a strong power<div>running game but maybe it's possible.</div>
