Yes, and you can mute it on the window tab at the top of your screen, but then you can't listen to any embedded video that anyone posts in a thread.

You can add the Flashcontrol app and most embedded videos will launch only when you click on them. (Just as with AdBlock Plus, you can select the sites on which you want to allow these videos to run spontaneously.)
