give me 8 guys that like to block and I will take my chances
If we're going to be greedy, make it 10 or 12 guys for more depth.

I have no faith in the ratings. They're just for comparison.Your faith in ratings is admirable
This is certainly true.A monster at ECU doesn't necessarily translate to a monster in the SEC, or any P4 conference.
Yes. An average OL and we're likely an 8-win team last season. This is certainly true.
If I can use an analogy, it's like saying that a Ford Mustang may be fast in some circles, but it's not fast compared to Ferraris and Lamborghinis. But if you were driving a Yugo, a Mustang would be a significant upgrade.
I don't expect our O-line to be one of the best in the SEC next year. But if we have one that is merely average relative to other P4 programs, that would be a significant upgrade from last year's O-line.
Less whiffing would be awesome.give me 8 guys that like to block and I will take my chances
...double post
It will be hard to be worse, so we have that going for us. Having 9 SEC games takes away a gimme win, so we start the season with 2 wins instead of 3. Maybe an average OL can get 6 conference wins.Yes. An average OL and we're likely an 8-win team last season.
And if we had the Hoosiers' OL (with all their 3* guys) + their OL coach?Yes. An average OL and we're likely an 8-win team last season.
Thank you. Fans like to buy intro every one-liner thrown out, like college OL is tantamount to a manned mission to Mars.give me 8 guys that like to block and I will take my chances
If I’m Beamer, I’d have to answer, “YES!”STARTING price tag: $2.5 million.
Is it worth that much (at a minimum) to make our OL issues go away for 1 season?
If we have ONE play next year, any play, where 5 guys are hitting 5 defenders at one time, we will have succededThank you. Fans like to buy intro every one-liner thrown out, like college OL is tantamount to a manned mission to Mars.
If I’m Beamer, I’d have to answer, “YES!”
Would I personally pay a cent to any player on scholarship, “NO!”
Link or it's not true. Most internet posters have a fairly low football IQ.
I believe I heard four out of Vandy's starting five olinemen last season came off the portal so it is possible to make it work.
Smartest thing u ever postedYeah, I don't think it's all that big of a deal. If you're bringing in guys who know how to play OL, it shouldn't be that difficult for a good OL coach to produce a quality line.
Can't be true. Experts have spoken....you can't just "plug and play" OL. It takes years to build continuity & unit cohesion in a OL.I believe I heard four out of Vandy's starting five olinemen last season came off the portal so it is possible to make it work.
