On ESPN First Take, he said the Colts 3rd receiver is better than any of the Saints receivers and called Colston the most overrated player in the NFL, saying the only thing he has going for him is that he is tall. He also said every GM would agree with him that in a draft, they would all draft Dallas Clark ahead of Colston, Bush, etc. And not only that, he was arguing all of thiswith Ken Hamlin, a STARTING SAFETY in the NFL. Let's see, whose opinion is worth more? Hmmmm?

Seriously does this guy just try to be an ***?

One word: Yes.

It's his thing. He makes his livelihood going against the grain and bashing popular opinion.
He is to ESPN what Nancy Grace is to... (whoever she works for). They're both around to stir **** up. My advice: Don't watch. His arguments are useless.

He's almost always wrong; I imagine it's truly a difficult thing to do to be wrong 100% of the time, but he does try hard to get there. But yes, the more you listen to this guy, the more you want to jump through the TV into Bristol and give him a fist to the face.

he's getting people to watch/listen and talk about himeven when they don't like him.I think we've had the discussion on here before about these "debates" on Frist Take. I honestly think that most of the time he "goes against the grain" for the sake of the argument. He's sort of like Colin Cowherd in that you don't really like him, but you can't help but listen to him.

Nobody would have posted if he had taken the opposite positions.

What he does works as evidenced by this thread.

I think that started his focus on saying controversial, stupid crap. And he's only been downhill since.
