Does anybody think it is outside the realm of possibilities that, with all the heat the SEC has taken the last few weeks concerning its officiating, Mike Slive and Urban Meyer set this whole thing up. Urban Meyer makes a very small complaint publicly about a Tebow late hit right after Slive makes it against the rules to criticize ref, then Slive gets to come down hard on him with a whopping $30,000 fine to show that Florida doesn't get preferential treatment from the SEC. SEC office evens goes so far as to say Meyer has to pay this fine out of his own pocket and it can't be paid by UF.
No way that fine ever gets paid. Complete smokescreen. At least that's my thoughts on the whole thing.
