it requires execution. However, there should be some exceptions to playing that kind of game. One glaring exception today should have been when one of the SEC's leading hitters comes to the plate with men on first and second and we have him bunt. I would NEVER have him bunt. He hits at a .400 clip and we took the bat right out of his hands. In the first game we never challenged Bama's outfielders. We ran station to station and it cost us.I thought wewere going to play aggressive baseball? If Bama had a guy on second and they got a base hit they were sending their guys every single time. We held ours on third and that is where they remained till the innings ended. Then in the ninth inning of the first game we BUNTED, not once,, but twice NOT attempting to sacrifice but trying to get a base hit. How many times does a hitter bunt and get a base hit? Unbelievable...two of our outs in the last inning were made attempting to bunt our way on first. Can't we just HIT the ball? I have already commented on the crappy baserunning so I will not go into that again. We are an improved team over last year but not drastically improved. Cohen should get another season but things need to start looking much better or his time will be up.</p>
