Another great game at the Panther Pit. If not for the two long TD's by Lowry (Franklin RB), there could have easily been a different outcome to this game. BTW, where the heck does Franklin keep coming up with the great running backs they've had over the years? Both teams played the type of smash-mouth football the fans have become accustomed to. I really enjoyed the game, especially the second half (the half I could actually SEE on MDN).
The Devils are improving every game. Considering our #1 running back (Miller) did not play last night and Jordan playing injured, I think the offense looked pretty good against the Panthers. I heard Gary say last night that Miller has an MRI scheduled for Monday. Several other players are also injured including Beaner who has not played at all this season due to injury. I have not seen him play but people tell me he is going to be a real stud.
Hopefully by the time the conference schedule rolls around, the devils will have the injured guys back and be clicking on all cylinders. As usual, they are going to be a real threat come playoff time.
