I am thinking the Rville-Murphy game will be closer. BK Do you think this rville team is that much better then last years?

Should be. 20 freshman.
2 stud running backs and a nasty defense.
Murphy did good vs Williams last year so who knows. If my gut is right I picked it to close this year. I wouldnt be surprised if it was much closer though

Knights 50, Dogs 12. Rville will score every time the starters have the ball. I don't see anyone stopping this offense. Murphy may be able to pass on us a bit, but I don't think they'll be able to run.

Not going to speculate on a spread, though no doubt Robbinsville is the clear favorite.

With that said I remember well a Knights team with Odom, Anderson, Perkins and Co. flat out embarassing Murphy on JV and we all know how that shook down on varsity.

I'm not implying history will repeat itself but I'm saying I'm not going to count out Murphy at the varsity level in a few years no matter what happens Thursday.

I don't see it. Murphy would have to have a major melt down with turnovers to give up that many points. I am thinking something around 20-6 Robbinsville

5 more minutes and it would've been last year.
Last year Murphy was reeling from losing their FB for the season. They moved Wood to FB for that game and tried two other kids at tail and wing. It didn't work. If they had left Wood at tail, the final would have been much worse. Moved him back after that game and offense was back to its explosive self.
