My picks were bad this week and still took the lead. The rest of the pool should run in fear lol.

Not nearly as easy this year when you have four teams still in the hunt for the conference title with four weeks to go... it's still possible (and not at all unthinkable) that all of 'em could have one loss come the playoffs. Rville or Swain could still go undefeated, but that's not the foregone conclusion it has been some years.

And the other western conferences haven't been very predictable either, outside of Mitchell, and even they just barely scraped by this week. Fun year all the way around. Lots of surprises, and more to come.

No, I take that back. A four-way tie at the top isn't possible now:

- For Swain and Robbinsville to both end up with one loss, Swain has to beat Robbinsville and lose to one of Murphy or Rosman. If Swain loses to Rville, Rville wins outright (unless somebody else pulls an upset).

- But if Swain splits with Murphy and Rosman, the team that loses to Swain will have two losses. So a three-way tie is possible, but a four-way tie isn't. And two losses for everybody is too unlikely to even think about.

We could still have a three-way tie for first, or Swain or Rville could go undefeated... but Robbinsville has the inside track. For Murphy or Rosman to win outright, Swain and somebody else will have to beat Robbinsville, and Swain will have to lose to both Murphy and Rosman. Not very likely, but I wouldn't call it impossible....
