FCC says dish companies give Cherokee County Chattanooga stations. Murphy cable company carries WLOS, but not My40. Macon and Graham get Asheville/Greenville with dish, Clay gets Atlanta.

I don't know, doesn't seem like WLOS covers Robbinsville nearly as well as some of the Chattanooga stations cover Murphy. The only thing I don't like about it is having to watch Titan games (puke) on CBS every Sunday.

Also end up with Saints/Falcons instead of Panthers a lot. Chattanooga stations do a commendable job covering Cherokee County news, but the college/pro sports coverage is frustrating for fans of NC teams. It may be a drawback for Murphy fans come December, since the state finals TV contract is now with Sinclair, which owns WLOS and My40.

If anyone in the SMC wants to get on TV you'll have to play a school in buncomb county. It's doubtful you'll see 2 non buncomb schools play on Thursday night lights. Stan doesn't know there are high schools outside buncomb county.
