After week 4 the conference would be a combined 7-19, with a 26.9 winning percentage. Teams such as Robbinsville and Swain with 0 wins along with Rosman and Hayesville. Im sure im not the only one who thinks the conference would never have been in this scenario after a month of football.

I knew it was a down year for the SMC but even in our down years we are normally extremely good against out of conference teams, i sadly think next year may be even worse
Cherokee's only loss came against a VERY good non-conf. foe (Mitchell). They beatin everybody!!
If Cherokee wants to win against SMC teams we are gonna have to cut out the costly penalties and keep our cool. Had a sophomore that finally got a chance to shine against Cosby. Blake Smith is one to watch for the Braves.
Braves have to do better inside the redzone. If they improve in that area I will consider them a big threat to win the SMC. Right now I have then 2nd or 3rd. At the beginning of the season I had them 4Th.
Way to many costly penalties are killing them. Can't afford to lose many more players . Mintz finally looked 100 percent gonna be a huge game this week hope Evans is good to go
