Bye Bye Mack. Good news for Rebels, lots of distractions out there right now.

Unsurprising. He's been rumored to leave for a while...

...since he is in his seventies.

Do these people realize there are still at least 10 more games to play?

I don't doubt that Diaz and the AD deserved to be fired but damn, why not let things play out? College football is not usually like the NFL where a coach gets fired and the team has a miraculous turn around.

What if Texas were to end up 11-2? Would the AD still deserve to get canned?

They are now more likely to end up 2-10. Lame duck coaches never work out, ask King Jackie and Nutt-ball.

The prob for the bears is that UAT might take them seriously (see us last yr)

And, if they actually take you seriously, its woodshed time with Saban. I do not care what any of them say about last years game, that was not true Alabama 'ready'. But, as when we were 7-0, if they actually game plan for you, you are in trouble.

So Diaz falls on his face and takes down the AD and probably Brown. Too bad OM didn't hire Diaz.

the rumor. And he doesn't want to have to fire guys he has become friends with. Baseball, basketball and football coaches have been there for years.
Also, this probably paves the way for Mac to move into some admin role/fundraising.
