Well, it's true. When I'm at work, I lock my computer but it stays logged on. I could be logged on for 3 days and never read the board because I have so many tabs open at the bottom. I doubt this is happening but just pointing out how it could be.
I know I was joking. just thought it was funny he wanted concrete evidence that Coach is reading sixpack which we all know can't be proven unless Goat is outside Coach34's window watching him read sixpack.
I'm not having any trouble sleeping at night. Just pointing that because someone shows as logged in to SPS, that's not proof that they are "online" and reading the board. For all I know C34 could be reading this thread right now, but I don't know that and neither do you.
My reply was to "Railin Jemmye". I didn't need proof...just messing with him obviously trying to provoke C34 into posting, so he can start throwing **** at him.
So all weekend we were playing the "where's Chris Jones" game and now we have resorted to the "where's Coach34 " game.
I think if you don't do any activity for an hour (page refresh, post, etc.) - you will not show as who's online even if you have SPS pulled up.
Believe all that would be required from C34 on the OP's question is a yes or no*

because other teams actually try to follow the rules.

Wouldn't dead period recruiting be the easiest thing in the world to prove? Phone records, etc? You guys love to throw that out there as if it were a known fact, but you don't have anything to back it up.

I'm not sure Jones knows at this point. According to his interview, he's "pretty sure" but hasn't even told his parents where he's leaning, which doesn't sound solid at all. Not that we all believe his parents are clueless, but I'd bet every other "source" is outright guessing or speculating based on something he said to get them to leave him alone. "Sure, Hugh, Hotty 17in' Toddy--gotta go now."
Actually one of the toughest things to prove...
if a coach wants to talk to a guy all he has to do is use a go between to tell the recruit to call. If a secluded location is set up to meet who is going to prove that happened? Its somewhat on the honor system to be quite truthful about it.
So its the honor system and it honored by everyone but OM?

WT17 else is he supposed to say? Seriously. He's not Chris Jones and doesn't have direct contact with him. All he can rely on is what he's told. He's going to be wrong some and he's going to be right some. You'll be fine either way.

Maybe that's because, when you're right, you come acting like you had direct knowledge. Also, when someone is wrong, you act as if they are an idiot. Don't give it if you can't take it.
