It appears this is the weakest QB draft class in a very, very long time. Moore was supposed to be the first QB off the board according to so-called experts….who always shoehorn 2 or 3 QB’s into their projected Top 10 picks without rhyme or reason (Shadeur, anyone?). The actual experts - NFL scouts - appear to have not even given him a 1st round grade.

LOL at Dylan Raiola who transferred from Nebraska. Probably re-thinking that now.

Which again brings up the question, why would Chambliss sue for a 6th year? Has he sold his soul to the group representing him up to the point of no return?

In the article I read, it said the plan was for Raiola to redshirt next season if Moore came back and then be the starter the following year. Idk if he agreed to that thinking there was no was Moore was coming back and now regrets his decision or not.

Because an QB NIL payday is a hell of a lot more than an NFL undrafted FA deal….or really any rookie deal unless he’s picked in the first 2 rounds.

And no one with a brain believes he doesn't get taken in the first round. Last I heard, for some reason he doesn't have a draft grade yet. Maybe someone here knows more about that, but if true, when he gets it, I expect it will end the debate about what he is going to do.

I wonder when someone sues and wins a case for transferring mid football season? Everything else goes so might as well throw in this feature. ***
Week to week transfers. I need to start a temp agency for football players. Lose an OT, call us. Need a backup QB for a week, call us. We only make money when you’re in a bind! 40% surcharge on top of his NIL, plus the setup costs.

Raiola did break his leg toward the end of the season. Not sure on the severity, but maybe that has him OK with taking a RS year to fully recover.

You’re saying Chambliss is a 1st rounder? Like, are you being serious right now?

Not sure who qualifies as having a brain, but the majority of draft analysts seem to believe that he doesn't get taken in the first round. Most of them project round 3 or lower.

As a Jets fan I am happy about that. The Jets would have felt obligated to pick him and he would be the next Geno Smith, Sam Darnold, Zach Wilson. I was actually more impressed with Chambliss and he could be a good second or maybe third round pick. The Jets have 4 picks in the first 2 rounds

If folks are predicting picks, they have to take into account that NFL teams almost always take QBs higher than they should because they're trying to hit the lottery with one. Sanders is one of the few who fell down the actual draft order. I don't really care about projecting picks; I care about projecting how good a player is going to be. Those are two very different things.
