when the confed goal post came down? You know, the one at the end of the field that they don't rush after a big win cause they're above that. Heard some dude got crushed and may have suffered very serious injuries.

Drunks are less likely to be injured when the goal posts come down than people who are sober.

Yes. I do not know to what extent, but there is a photo making the rounds on Twitter of someone being taken off the field on a stretcher. Looked like it was taken from the press box.

I can't remember who tweeted it, but think it was Brando or some other media type. If I can run it down I will post the link.

If true, then OM is gonna likely be hit with a lawsuit for letting these guys rush the field every time they beat an sec team not named Vandy

I hate those 17'n guys. Every person in uniform in Oxford just seems hell bent on flexing their muscle.

True, but you have got to love a dumbass redneck Bama fan getting tackled after throwing something onto the field. That video is golden material .

I was there on the field. Kids got hurt. Bad. One was taken away on a backboard, and I helped clear a path for students carrying another student who's foot was turned completely sideways in his boot. I spoke with the kid who was standing on the first post in the light blue polo shirt. "Yeah the thing hit me in the neck when I fell, but I took a muscle relaxer 2 hours ago, so it's all Gucci". He was carrying a goalpost at the time

According to this, nobody was hurt.

Not sure though. Someone may have gotten hurt but it may not have been goal-post related. Super drunk guy falling down and getting trampled is a distinct possibility.

Cbs showed a girl in a black dress face planting while jumping on the field behind the goal post

17 that. That

**** was awesome. If you're being a douche, throwing full drinks at people, with the thought that they can't get to you (being in the above section), then you deserve to get whatever comes to you. That's just being a punk-*** *****.

Coincidentally (or not) I had a Bama fan do this to me and some friends after the 07 game. He was in the club level and we were in the student section. There was nothing we could do to get to him, so I look at this and tip my hat to the cop. If you are going to be a douche and throw drinks at people then you deserve what you get.

There were some idiots hanging like Spider-Man high up on them at one point, probably 25 feet up. Stupid. They would have been critically injured if it came down then. It was fairly low when it did fall and no one was up high, so anyone injured would have likely been from poles hitting them. And how stupid can you be to stand in its path anyway.

I'm surprised OM didn't have collapsible goalposts like many colleges have. Rushing the field is fine but tearing down the goalposts is very dangerous. Collapsible posts would've prevented injuries.
