So do the Rebs average 500 more per game in attendance as..

Far more chairbacks = more season tickets sold is what it really boils down to in those numbers.

They've had better actual support than us or awhile though -- but that trend has started to swing back in our favor this year...

Actually, in their case that number includes estimates of their outfield crowds, some wildly inflated.
The way that game is played now, no one reports actual anymore (we were one of, if not the last holdout on that), so your attendance always equals season tickets plus walk-ups (estimated for some teams like UM), and no game's attendance is ever reported below season tickets sold.

Wrong, the outfield is not a wild estimate. They scan tickets to get into the outfield, so they have an exact number of general admission tickets known. They scan something in right field, I believe a student ID or gen admission ticket. They may not have exact numbers for the outfields, but they know pretty close to what the number is.

Sorry, but no. This has been a common discussion point on this board, with statistical and pictorial evidence showing that the crowds are inflated. I'm not knocking UM's use of the policy; it's how things are done in this era, and we should've done the same thing ourselves years ago.

Havent you learned that they have more than and are better than us in every...

Aspect of life?

The pictures of empty seats and stadiums are all just photoshopped. They also have more athletic revenue than we do. The recent release of us having $17 mil more and almost $2 mil more revenue, just doesn't include all of the other "athletic" organizations they have, and they have Millions more revenue than we do.

We you start to understand that they inflate just about every stat and number possibl and bend any/every rule because they absolutely cannot stand to be anywhere behind MSU, then you will stop wasting your time rationalizing real life and facts with the Bear faithful. Let them stay in their fantasy world, because nothing will ever bring them out of it.

Any time it's a big game and they know its going to be a big crowd

they scan tickets in the outfield to get an exact number, when they know its not going to be a big crowd they count season tickets sold which is about 5500 and then estimate what's in the outfield. Anytime the total is less than 8k its usually season tickets sold + OF estimate. And everyone does this

Yes, damn my personal experience in left field and right field as well as stadium seats, I'm sure you know much more about it than I do.

By the way, you said outfield numbers are wildly inflated. Then used stadium seats to try and prove that point. Please let me know what we are discussing: outfield or stadium seating.

The one difference between us and them is that we see reality and wont try to..

Blame the losses on the second Weekend of the 5th month of the year before, the 6th full moon of the 13th year of the 21st century AD.

Actually, the difference between us and them is that we came into the weekend talking aboput hosting regionals and national seeds, and they came in dissapointed and talking about firing their winningest coach in history...and the only difference in the records coming in was 1 game. Of course, after Wahl deals with us tomorrow, the difference will be 2, in their favor.

Rookie, I was talking about our fans accepting reality for what it is and theirs

Bringing up something completely irrelevant or incoherent to explain the situation.

I have a dream...that one day men will be judged(harshly) by the silly and ******-like content of the excuses they make after a loss to their rival, and not by the number of posts theyve tallied on a message board.
