Unless he's the guy responsible for getting Kentucky lined up on defense or special teams, I have no idea why they'd fire him. I mean, Stoops can bounce around the football facilities and replace whoever he wants, but at the end of the day, this roster is woefully deficient. UK certainly needs upgrades, but mostly on the field.
GBB!!!
We're seeing far fewer nagging things like high ankle sprains that seemed to always plague us before, so I have to think something good is coming out of that program.
If you base it on Elam, he goes yesterday[/QUOTEF
Few words say much.
Maybe bc the team has gone into 2nd half collapses the past two years. I think you're seriously under appreciating what a good S&C can do to a program. It starts with them. Sometimes it's the smallest of changes that can make the biggest difference. If the players aren't receiving the correct advice on nutrition and workouts during the season, it can be just as big as a factor of which gap they need to hit on SaturdayUnless he's the guy responsible for getting Kentucky lined up on defense or special teams, I have no idea why they'd fire him. Very true and the similar program he worked in at FSU resulted in I believe a 90% reduction in soft tissue injuries.
If the high performance program is not beneficial I wonder why other college teams like FSU and now some pro teams like the Seahawks and Eagles are putting them in?
The HP program has wowed a lot of recruits on their visit and it's one area where Kentucky actually has a leg up on most of the teams we recruit against, yet people want to get rid of it becasue some players are complaining? Maybe we need to get rid of wind sprints and up and downs as well as 2 a days in the spring and fall - too hard.

Huh. There have been so many head scratching moments from these coaches this season. I disagree I think the coaches are definitely most of the problem, way more so than the players. We lost the vandy game due to one of the worst coaching performances I've ever seen. Not the players. We never make adjustments at halftime. The coaches are to blame for the players not being lined up correctly sometimes. The coaches have cost us games this season. Which is why we're not in a bowl game. Just my opinion.Unless he's the guy responsible for getting Kentucky lined up on defense or special teams, I have no idea why they'd fire him. Elam's problem is between his hand and mouth. You can't make someone lose weight unless you confine them 24/7 and restrict their diet. Without 40-50 lbs of weight loss he will always have a problem with conditioning. If you base it on Elam, he goes yesterday
S&C is a different program than the HP Program. Most of what I have heard about our S&C program has been very positive.

The coaches and our players are to blame. You can't coach if the players are missing assignments or giving less than 100%. And you can't play if the coaches call the wrong plays or adjust. Majority of the blame lies with our coaches, I'd like to see half of them let go.Huh. There have been so many head scratching moments from these coaches this season.
