move from Nashville to Ridgeland, (Yeah, I moved from Nashville to Ridgeland) I stopped by the ole DMV on Hwy 51. Stopped by at 4:15 on a Thursday. Went inside with all of my stuff. Was pleased that there was no line. The nice lady looked at all of my documents and assured me that I had everything I needed. Told me that I had to turn in my TN plates. Fine, except I didn't have a screwdriver. Asked the lady how long they would be open. 5:00 was her answer. Told her that I would go get a screwdriver and be right back. She volunteered to loan me some tools. Great. I took a Phillips head and a flat head, stepped outside and took off the TN plate. Took about 45 seconds. I stepped back to the door. It's approximately 4:18 at this point. The door was locked. I knocked, waited, knocked, waited. A lady came cracked open the door, told me that they were relocating the next day so they were closing early to pack. Much discussion ensued. I left without MS plates but in possession of two Madison County screwdrivers. To make the sports related. I went to a bar right down 51 where i had met Bobby Hall a couple of months back and shot pool. Good to be back in MS.
