They could be very very good this year. I think their defense will be an average SEC defense but their offense should be the best. They only way to stop their offense will be to blitz all day and hit Mallet every play. If blitzing doesn't work and he can get rid of it quickly and get alot of yards after catch you're screwed, but if you don't blitz and let him sit back there all day he will pick you apart. ARK very well could finish second or maybe even first in the SECW this year. I don't think they are national championship quality, but a very good team.
but that schedule is brutal. At UGA to open the SEC schedule, followed by Bama. They also travel to SC, have a gain in Dallas against what should be a top 25 caliber A&M team, and wrap up with LSU at home. I'd bet they get to 8 wins in the regular season, but 9 is a good possibility.
although I see them beating Auburn, OM and MSU this hear without much drama. Petrino is a very good coach, and their defense really has no where to go but up.</p>
