so is Thompson deciding today, later in week or on signing day?

I don't think there is any question that both Thompson and Sanders are going to have wonderful packages to sign. Mullen might as well wake up and understand it is how recruitng goes in Mississippi. Thompson was helping MSU recruit on his visit, then the deal is put in place, and now he will be a rebel. I think Slive has made this league into a band of crooks.

Come on. You know dawgbreeze's history. There is no doubt that he really believes this.

I'm sure it happens, but I don't think it has with Thompson.

MSU has 16 commits from MS, did MSU just win those bidding wars? Mullen has focused his recruiting efforts in MS, I would think he understands how recruiting in MS goes.

Also, its a long time until signing day.

is that we didn't save enough money to get Eulls as well. I hear we spent our last few hundred thousand on keeping Brunetti from signing with MSU.

But I do find it a little odd he talked to two kids about going to MSU and then in a week commits to UM. I am simply stating facts and I am sure if we wanted to match the offer, we probably could, but it does seem a little odd. I think Thompson will help them in a couple of years but he was not going to play next year for either of us.

I didn't see that in any articles, and I sure didn't see it come from Carlos' mouth. Sounds like you are basing your opinion on rumors to me.

I am not claiming that we are clean or dirty here.

How in the world did you guys beat us out for Eulls, Wells, Johnson?

By the way, I called this a few weeks back. Whoever doesn't get Thompson will be throwing around the dollar signs about the other school. That's just the way it was going to shake out.

He said the same thing to Ole Miss players/recruits on his visit. Both groups were hearing positive things, probably because Thompson was telling each side what they wanted to hear.

So you have"facts" that prove Ole Miss bought Thompson? Really? Because I'm guessing if somebody as far out of the loop as you are knows whatwent down, somebodyin the loophas already submitted those "facts" to the NCAA.

That's interesting, since he was talking to some other players about how badly he wanted to be at Ole Miss.....during his MSU visit.
