The way I understand it is - 10 min before a game not involving ULL - they are going to take an estimate of how many seats aren't being used. They will sell general admission seats for that estimate. So if they think there aren't 500 seats being used - they will sell 500 GA tickets. You can go sit in an open seat but if the person that has the "real" ticket for the seat shows up - you have to get up and find somewhere else to stand.

I don't think there's any question that they are. I don't have any problem with it. It's a win-win. People who otherwise wouldn't be able to buy a ticket can get in to see the game.

Kind of. They are double-selling tickets, not charging double for them.

But in no way is this a bad thing. We've basically begged them all week to do just that. It's essentially a standing room only ticket.

Is there a SRO section?

Seems like the easiest thing would be to sell SRO tickets right now to avoid the confusion of sitting in someone's seat. I guess it's a way to sell more than even what their SRO capacity is.

are their bleachers not General Admission? Looks like that'd be 2/3 of their seating anyway.

I'm just gonna show up around noon and buy a ticket from a Cajuns fan so that I have an actual seat. I'm sure there will be plenty of people getting rid of tickets for Game 1. Not expecting to pay more than the $10 they are asking for GA.

If they sold all 4,000 tickets for the regional - you have to think their bleachers are designated seats. Kind of like our bleachers in Davis Wade.
