It did but oklll
There were no personal insults in my post. . If you use strong words like "pathetic" on a message board you should expect strong reactions.

Yea it was personal. You told me I had to be better.

My exact words......"MAYBE" its you who nèeds to do better....

LOL. If you consider that some type of personal insult not sure what to tell you. Sounds like someone who might be a bit insecure about not being better.

I'll drop out here and continue to enjoy watching the game....apparently something you are having trouble with.

The problem is how f*ckin long it takes just to get into the stadium. They need to figure it out.

I’d love to win a big game. Haven’t gotten that yet
Despite this loss to OSU the program is starting to look like it's getting closer to being able to win big names like against what's a Vol in 1979, MSU in 2004 and Louisville in 2006 will be just some of the many big games Rutgers wins. An honory mention might be geating Michigan in 2014 , but because of the name ,the program wasn't very good that year

Ok…but again my issue is it should have taken 4 years.

Actually your complaint should be for more years than you counted.
I'd complain about waiting since 1981 (the year I consider Rutgers first started scheduling a full D-1A lineup of opponents) and still 22 years later RU isn't a top program.
The closest RU has come to that is when the same guy was HC.( hint: first name starts with a G)
His first time as RU's HC it took 5 years for the program to become respected, this time it only has taken 4.
If you want to complain about something , complain about Rutgers never making sure it's football program was one of the best since it went big time.
Maybe the roadblocks put in place because the program has been considered a loser since it went D-1A makes it harder to get the type of talent top programs get and turning around a program like that takes more time thaqn the I want it now crowd will accept.
But I will agree, over 20 seasons since beginning to play a D-1A schedule with only one season ( 2006) worth remembering is too long of a time to wait for greatness

crowd filled but the point is to create hype and atmosphere. I didnt get a feeling the place was jacked and juiced today. Again need to get those students there before 2 minutes into the game

The crowd filled in but that was the most quiet crowd I've ever been a part of for an almost full house against a top team, #1 no less, in a game we were in into the 4th quarter. Very odd. To not have such a big game where we were more than competitive in a long time, the juice was mostly non-existent. Baffling.

Crowd filled out and was loud in the young alumni section in 132.

Took an Uber to the game from EB like I have multiple times this season and traffic was the worst I've seen. After we got out near the circle, I heard cops trying to direct people to the RAC lot - not sure how people could get so lost but that was probably a good portion of the backup. Was in my seats for kickoff still.

I think there were a few issues contributing to it: good amount of OSU fans, casual RU/NJ fans just checking out the game and the momentum swings away from us.

The crowd would get jacked then you have the pick 6 or the screen pass to Henderson on third and long. Lack of red zone conversions also quashed the crowd. Overall, it still was a good crowd that got loud at times. It was a good college football day in Jersey and a sign of how good things can be here.

Just got back from watching RU in a really tough competitive game in front of a loud crowd and this is the first post I read - you sir are a complete asshat.

All good. I’m sure you wouldn’t say that to my face….

Lots of people I talked to face to face even after the game and dinner thought the same.

Good night, sir.

Clear the tears out of your eyes and get your hearing checked. You are an insufferable misery man. Find something that makes you happy, because this ain't it.

Those weren’t big games to the casual fan.
I dunno everyone seems to obsess about capturing the mythical casual fan in many sports. The name “casual fan” translates to generally doesn’t give a sh$t. Better to cater to those who were good fans who jumped ship during Ash or at different times for various reasons. You had them once, how do you get them back?
