I saw that as well. I refuse to believe we have much of shot, but we did have a d-linemand go #12 in the draft, possibly the best D-Line coach in the country, and the kid he lived with in high school on our resume. With that being said, I am not sure if it is enough to beat out his brother or Saben, but just being in contention is nice. I guess people start taking you serious when you produce 1st round picks at their position. Not to mention he would get to play with Evans, James, and Autry.

From a football only perspective his order should be: 1. Bama 2. LSU 3. MSU 3. Ole Miss<div>From a "Wanting to play with friends or family" his order should be: 1. Ole Miss 2. MSU 3. LSU or Bama</div><div>
</div><div>So maybe we offer the best of both worlds for the young man. I will believe it when I see it.</div>

I think the fact that it's April helps us because we are gonna win some games this fall. Ole Miss, not so much.

Nick Schuessler later tweeted at Nkemdiche and Kamara "y'all tryna join the fam at State?" and Kamara tweeted back "there's a good chance we just gotta wait and see :)"

I refuse to buy in to this tease. I think we all know better than this.

Btw Kamara is a DB who plays with Nkemdiche at Grayson High. He's been getting offers from everywhere. Mostly ppl trying to use him to get Nkemdiche but he's a great talent as well.

I agree, it is probably just a tease, but if we are going to get where we want to go as a program we have to start thinking big and shooting for it. It nothing else, Fletcher Cox proved that you don't have to go to Alabama or LSU to get drafted high in the NFL. Chris Wilson has proven that he will put talented players in position to make plays. We'll see what happens.

Chris Wilson proved he could produce top defensive prospects at Oklahoma when he recruited and built Gerald McCoy into a #3 pick. Wilson is a great coach.

..remember when Ryan Perrilloux cocked-teased MSU until the 11th hour, then signed with LSU? Then from there, it all went to ****:

"First, he was involved in a counterfeiting investigation and was caught trying to enter a Baton Rouge casino with false identification.

Then, he was involved in a nightclub fight, which led to a suspension. But, shortly after that, Miles suspended Perrilloux again for missing a team meeting, skipping some classes and being late for conditioning workouts.

The final straw came in May of 2008, when Perrilloux tested positive for a drug test and Miles dismissed him from the team for good."

and it won't surprise me in the least if he ends up in oxford. I noticed a trend way before spring started where the rebel sites were writing stories about how his older brother was going to be an important cog in the bear secondary. They were making it sound like the guy was going to be the leader back there. An obvious dog and pony show for the sake of making the whole family feel good. The only thing that may keep the younger nkemdiche from going to oxford is if he sees that he will have ****** coaching and all the other stuff isn't worth risking an nfl future.

But I thought it was pretty much a consensus that we weren't getting Perrilloux. We were in his top 3, but we were known to be third behind Texas and LSU. Like I said he may have been fawning over us until the end, but I didn't remember it like that. It wasn't a Kenny Ashley situation.

Plus, I still think that having his brother at UM and his "other brother" at MSU will set up a good excuse when he signs with Bama (i.e. he couldn't pick between the two so decided to do his own thing).

I thought Robby Consonants was a receiver. I guess I was confusing him with that top rated receiver who signed with missouri.

I had completely forgotten about him until you mentioned his name. Everybody bitched and moaned like we had just lost out on the next Barry Sanders when he signed with USC at the 11th hour. But I never heard from him again. Anybody know where he ended up and if he ever played?

and went to El Camino CC in Cali. Apparently he didn't make his grades there either. Signed with Ohio, but I couldn't find anything on him.

Signed with USC, didn't make his grades; went to West JC (calif I think); was #3 or #4 RB & K or punt returner. Actually committed to Bears but never signed ... Best I can recall. No clue what happened to him after that.

MSU fans thought Ashley would be our next great running back, and were pissed when he jilted us. Then he signs with some random JUCO and completely disappears off the face of the earth.

Our DL is always going to be above average, regardless of a 5 star anchor or not. If Mississippi has an advantage in anything it's having overweight, above the national average height high school athletes. They might come on as 3 stars but they'll leave NFL caliber with Balis.
