You are simply being silly. They recruit nationally and make serious college placement promises. An example would be John O'Korn who transferred from up north to STA. When
he arrived he was only good enough to be the JV back up QB however within 2 months had gone from and unranked zero star QB to a 3+ star recruit as the JV Backup. Within 3 months he was holding a handful of offers and by signing day was in the mid teens. He's a great kid and I know him well but nothing changed about him from the time he left the north to attend STA other than where he was living. STA recruited him heavily to play the role of a back up, do you think any illinois team is prepared to recruit on this level, or better yet be able to secure the D1 recruiting attention of Epic's cited list?...NO!
