So Rebels, what did Standifer do to get booted off the your TSUN team?

It's a fulltime job, Kurt.

Takes just slightly more time than you spend following up my every post on SPS.

I like it though. Its obvious I get under your thin skin.

Funny that they were good enough friends for Treadwell to go half way across the country for but not good enough friends to smoke weed together ?

This is what I think is funny. When questioned about how Freeze landed the nation's #1 WR recruit from Illinois, the spin was "well, his best friend is a DB here, so we had an in." Now, though, ONLY A FEW MONTHS LATER, the two "run in different circles."

This is somewhat true

I don't know if more smoke, but it's about 50/50 as I get older. I know where my girlfriend lives more guys do smoke than drink, and when they drink they don't drink as much as I like to. But that's northern suburbs of Chicago. All of her friends husbands get together and get high when they have get togethers. Moms and kids upstairs, dads getting stoned in the basement.

The no hangover is 100% true, although take a toke before Lowes and you may not make it there anyway...

Speaking of LSU...17 their drug policy. They have a guy who commited felony rape and then violated probation by committing battery. He is still starting.

And he will run wild thru the om defense, too. He might even sucker punch a drunk fratboy in ghey red pants as well.

There’s a rising tide of Ole Miss fans saying enough is enough.

We were willing to look the other way when we hired a girls’ basketball coach who’s nothing more than an embarrassing front man for our pay-for-play recruiting shenanigans.

We didn’t say anything when our indoor practice facility was being used as a brothel or when our own daughters and wives were used to provide sexual favors to recruits in exchange for what we believed would be preferential parking passes. (Don’t even ask how those parking passes panned out.)

We kept quiet when Robert Nkemdiche robbed a bar and when he beat up a girl and we had to cover the whole thing up.

We bit our tongues when C.J. Johnson was in rehab battling a nasty addiction, yet the coaching staff kept making him come to practice anyway, and now look at him - injured again.

It's taking all of our resources to keep the lid on the looming NCAA sanctions which will decimate our program any day now. In fact, I hear we've already received a letter providing advance notice from the NCAA.

At some point you have to say enough is enough. It’s time to fire Hugh Freeze.

What a stupid post. You should be embarrassed and you should throw your computer in a river to get rid of the evidence.

Are yall really this ignorant? I know it's fun to make fun of rival fans. But to be as totally stupid as u and others on here is amazing. But I think that's all yall have since your programs headed, where all u know where it's headed. Now I return u to yall's Christian bashing. Unreal.

Did your parents know every detail of the people you ran with in HS. I, like most, purposefully made sure that my parents didn't know about friend's transgressions.

No, but you made the assumption that maybe his parent's were happy a bad influence was removed. And while my parents didn't necessarily know what all my friends did, they did know certain people they didn't want me associate and get involved with and tried to discretely steer me away from those people.

But all that's useless. The basic issue still is that the DB was used in some way to help land Treadwell, he was not following rules and/or not showing all-sec potential so he was easy to cut loose. But that's no different than a lot of schools. We put up with James b/c we know he has NFL potential. And if we had cut calhoun the first semester after landing Quay y'all would be saying the same thing. It's just an easy target.

I suspect he is saying that you signed Standifer - a middling prospect of a DB by all accounts - in order to get an in with Treadwell. When you got the in and ultimately signed Treadwell, Standifer became expendable. All it took was one misstep to get rid of him. Would that same misstep have gotten a more highly regarded player booted? Since we don't know the misstep, we don't know the answer.

Note that I am not ascribing to this theory. Just spelling it out for you two since you seem incapable of connecting A and B.

Of course I was capable of connecting the two. The same idiots who believe this theory have been claiming it was the truth since before Treadwell signed.

Nevermind that the kid played last year before injuring his knee and played this year before he couldn't keep himself from getting suspended. He was given plenty of chances.

Just quit being a sheep about it. If your coach is too 17ing stupid to recruit, just say so. Don't act like its because he refuses to use tactics that your presume are dirty.

We didn't get rid of Standifer because of his talent. As I've said, the staff believes he has pro talent. He lettered last year as a freshman. He wasn't playing this year because it was apparent that he'd rather smoke than "grind" in the classroom or in practice.

Have you noticed that despite being healthy one of our best DBs, Charles Sawyer, is not playing much for us? It's because he is in the doghouse due to his DUI earlier. So you can't act like Freeze won't discipline his talented players.

By your own terms, you used Devin Fosselman to get James Maiden. Now both are gone. Don't act like you are different. There are many others, but you only see your rivals.

It's no different than some here asking how many times did he fail before they dismissed him. If I wanted to be a sheep about it, I'd ask how many times Chris Hughes beat up a women (3 domestic violence charges in 2 years at MSU) before being dismissed. Should I assume that Mullen protected a woman abuser the first two times? Apparently he was only removed once it became public knowledge in the media.

When we have attrition, sheep like you present sinister plots, but you are totally oblivious to your own.

I read

SPS. How can I miss your posts? That's a little different than someone going out and randomly following someone they have no contact with.

ETA: If that's considered "stalking" then what the hell do you consider your clown *** as doing? Hell you've got an archive on every poster on here that blows Ronny's out of the water.

Middling? Being a three star doesn't make you middling these days when you consider that a one star doesn't exist and anyone with a solitary BCS offer instantly goes from NR or two star to a low three star.

Aside from off the field issues, most schools would be happy to have a few of these middling DBs.

perhaps he meant meddling, as in "those blasted meddling kids" as one shakes their fist.

From HS football practices to the inner circles of college athletes..... you've got the drop on it all, huh?

Pretty creepy.

Ole Miss isn't exactly stacked with serviceable cornerbacks. That doesn't track with the rhetoric that Coach Freeze just threw Standifer away because he didn't need him anymore. I can understand why MSU fans would love for the worst-case scenario to be true. I can also understand why Ole Miss fans want to believe the best-case scenario. In all honesty, the truth is probably somewhere in the middle.

They changed their policy not too long after a few articles came out a couple of years ago about how ridiculously weak their policy was compared to other schools. I think it's now about like most others is. And TSUN is right, a school would have a lot more credibility if they just had drug users on their team (we all do) then outright criminals. Les Miles suspending Hill for 1 game is the most outrageous thing since Ray Lewis got away with murder.

How this guy has lasted over a year on this board, blows my mind. There is not a bigger douchebag on this Continent than this 17er right here.

This thread has been hilarious because State fans got the ball rolling, and then it's like all of the MSU people kicked their feet up and were entertained as you Hugh freeze cock gobblers came scrambling from every nook and cranny to defend.

There are 2 defense strategies you guys use. 1) claim it as great recruiting and then bash the ole hunchback Merlinz for being too dumb to croot....and 2) start claiming examples on our team that were similar. Do you clowns not find it ironic that those two completely contradict each other? You claim Mullen does the same thing and then in the same post claim he is too dumb to do it. Y'all's ability to go full blown Spirit in defense mode is one of life's funniest, and douchiest spectacles.

So if one of your HS best friends smokes, you likely do too.

Got it.

And for the record, they don't run in the same circles at OM. There is a reason for that distance.

The idea that you know what circle they run in is just creepy.

I can't

answer that, either. All he does is post eggbowl.com type **** and it really brings nothing to the table. For what it's worth, I think he's been banned before. He's just extremely obsessed about MSU, so he just keeps coming back. Hell he follows our recruits parents on twitter. Let that sink in, on how terrible he is.
